Give it two weeks. Its all hanging on the ETF decision in the middle of august. BTC will slowly pump and alts will bleed as people FOMO in on the possibility of approval. I wouldn't be ready to get back into alts until August 8th at the earliest.
Most people will say no, just buy btc, but if you want a big stack of alts they're cheap right now
Alts could bleed for month, if Bitcoin gets ETF.

Checked. However I think they will be cheaper. It takes time for people to FOMO the closer to the date the higher chance of FOMO. If you buy alts now you are taking a huge risk that they won't just keep bleeding for the next few weeks.

I wouldn't buy anything right now, based firmly on the belief that even a small bull run now in BTC won't mean anything 2-3 months from now. The fact of the matter is that there is no such thing as a V formation bull run - that is, BTC must consolidate for a while at its current range. It will come down to the 6k range, and even if it stays at 7k then it will have to cool off here and settle down before any major legs up. And of course when BTC is stable you buy alts. This is looking like a big bart setup now anyway, but I digress.
Of course, this is just a rational point of view. Feel free to call me a rekt perma bear or whatever else.
