Litecoin is no longer needed. 2.5 minute blocktime is way too long to have any significant advantage over bitcoin. It's literally ctrl+c/ctrl+v bitcoin × 4 - SHA-256 + Scrypt. Even Digibyte is better than LTC.

If you've been around long enough to watch most cryptos die you'd longevity means a heap in the crypto space. 7 years is an eternity in crypto and adds to the stability and legitimacy of LTC. Second only to BTC.

I'm not sure if LTC is that valuable, but having a decent stack of 100 to hedge your bet is not a bad strategy. If LTC actually gets to 1/4th the price of BTC I selling what I got and getting the fuck out.
