Am I the only one in here who doesn't consider Mexico to be part of North America?

In terms of culture - they are not Anglo and they speak Spanish.
In terms of climate also, they have a hot climate unlike most of the USA and Canada.

I see them as part of Central America

You don't know what a rainforest is despite living in one and you call me dumb. The irony LMAO

Like a third of the western US can speak Spanish. It's not even just migrants. Spanish is the most commonly learned secondary language taught in schools here. A lot of the White people I know can speak it at a high school level and quite a few Blacks, Jews, Armenians, Koreans etc can speak it too at a low level too at least in California. Mexico has a pretty similar climate to the entire American west too, meaning there's a mix of arid populated areas, some mountainous forests and dry deserts. The only thing Mexico has that the US dosen't is tropical rainforest in it's far south but that's only really present in about maybe 20% of Mexico. I feel like you have some idea that only the Northern half of the US is what America is.

just read what said, i guess you can ready, right?

Lmao can you even read? Do they teach reading and writing in the rain forest?

>A lot of the White people I know can speak it at a high school level

So not at a conversational level at all. Got it.

Also, my state has two irrelevant towns that are homnyms with two of the largest Californian cities: San Diego and San Francisco. Funny stuff. Canada, the USA and Mexico (and probably all of the Americas) share the cowboy, vaquero, gaucho tradition. There are rodeos all the way from Sasketchwan to fucking Michoacán. Also BBQing, the quinteessential New World tradition.

You will never be truly a part of North America pedro, stop LARPing you Cnentral American piece of shit

I don't know how schooling works in Germany but high school level means conversational here. Usually in HS you take the same foreign language course for 2-3 years so you actually have a pretty competent grasp of it. You can actually function in California only speaking Spanish too. When California became part of the US one of the stipulations the Mexican Californios wrote into the California constitution was that Spanish would have equivalent status to English in American California. Subsequent laws have reinforced that. When dealing with any government agency, legal, police, medical, regulatory, automotive, travel, etc Californians are entitled to have the services rendered in Spanish. You can also request these services in Cantonese, Arabic, Armenian, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Hindi, Japanese, Farsi etc as well.

They can be true north americans when illegal immigration is no longer a concern
good fences make good neighbors

North America is just a piece of land, mate. The New World is an actual culture, though it's not monolithic and does not imply that we're "the same" or whatever, we've simply developed similar customs based on our shared history

doesnt even say at what time of year. i assume summer because theres no way in hell washington is 32 degrees in the spring or autumn.

>let me tell you about your continent

>Canada, the USA and Mexico (and probably all of the Americas) share the cowboy, vaquero, gaucho tradition. There are rodeos all the way from Sasketchwan to fucking Michoacán. Also BBQing, the quinteessential New World tradition.

Don't know about the rest of Latin America, but Argentina and rural parts of Peru and Chile have the gaucho thing too. My grandma has a lot of money so used to take me and my family traveling a lot and we got to to go South America a few times, and the rural ranching culture in central Peru/Chile and far South Argentina feels pretty fucking close to the shit you experience in Texas or Northern Mexico. Got to have BBQ llama in Peru (got to see Takanakuy fights up close too) and lamb burgers with provolone and beef sausage at a ranch in Argentina. Shit was fucking awesome.

Also on the pan-North American food thing, a lot of the hamburger places and dinners in California offer both stereotypical American food like hotdogs and hamburgers etc and Mexican stuff like tacos, burritos, pozole, and sometimes tortas etc too. I kind of feel like over the next few decades those will kind of be considered "American" foods like hamburgers, apple pie, pizza etc are considered now.

>In terms of culture
They're cultureless countries.

If you go to the Mexican southeast you'll find that a lot of the houses are build in a very similar way to those of the American southeast (albeit much less elegant or nice): a main "square" sourrounded by a much larger one with a poch so people can spend the day outside the main structure of the house, sitting on their rocking chairs to avoid the heat

cringe, Mexico is North American and part of /cum/

Thanks Michael Rodrigue from Albuquerque.

>let me educate you about your continent
don't you have some banks to run?

Buen post

dont you have some foreskins to eat

Don't you have some drugs to smuggle to the USA pedro, you brown mexican piece of shit.

isnt one fake continent enough for europoors? no, need to fuck it up even further, crackas be trippin baka

Why are you a hater

Disregarding the meme of separating Central America as it's own separate location, the countries shown in this pic are part of North America. Cultural identity and lifestyle are completely irrelevant to geography.

jesus christ, here's the damn map you idiot

By the responses that this Israeli has posted in this thread I can see that this motherfucker is just baiting
Still I'll say this, Mexico is North American, no it's not because we feel superior about it or cause we want to be associated with the gringos, or culture or whatever the fuck, it's because speaking geographically we are, that's it
The ignorant people associate Mexico with Central America is because they just associate the USA and Canada as North American, those are the countries they learn the must, they assume North America is the English speaking, first world part of the continent
The ignorant people that associate Mexico as South America just think all Latin America = South America, the USA and Canada = North America

Ya, I work in the automotive industry for a quality control firm that the German luxury car brands contract to and get to go to SLP, Edomex and Yucatan periodically to deal with factories and parts contractors and I've noticed that trend emerging over the last few years. A lot of the Mexican migrants that come from the Yucatan peninsula are indigenous and work as mechanics at our dealerships, when they save up enough money from working in the US they build houses for their families in Mexico. A lot of them live in lower middle class areas in California that are full of these big old craftsman houses. I think a lot of them probably like how they're laid out so when they end up building houses back in Mexico they build them in that format and combine them with indigenous stuff they're used to. I used to only see rich American tourists living in these types of homes in Yucatan but now I'm seeing a lot of Mexicans and ex MX to US migrants owning these types of hybrid Mayan look-California Craftsman layout homes in northern Yucatan. I think it's pretty awesome. One of my friends is a Maya dude from Merida. Worked in Toluca for a BMW parts supplier for a few years, then came to the US and did electronic / engine work for BMW in California for a few years a built a home pretty similar to pic related in Progreso when he went back to Mexico. We see a lot of the influences from Mexico (both positive and negative) in the US, but I'm always fascinated to see how American stuff influences Mexico.

>Rodrigue from Albuquerque.
This is one of the poorest quality bants I've seen in a long time. Don't you have some immigration paperwork to file so you can move to California and become a disgruntled remodeling contractor?

The thread looked promising for a good discussion but this reatard just shitted on his own thread. Are you an amerimutt on proxy? Or perhaps that dumb chicANO obsessed with Mexicans?

As long as people keep posting interesting content a single retard, doesn't really peddle much toxic influence. Just don't feed him.

Across the Hispanosphere we are taught that mexico is part of Central America. Only mexicans delude themselves into thinking they are part of North America just because the Angle educational system situates them there.

You are worng about something, parts of mexico have colder climae than some parts of the southern US dueto altitude, same could be said about most andean countries in South America

It always surprises me how far in the North Virginia is, despite being considered a Southern State

Stop trying to divide us
