Ukraine should forget about Crimea and Donbass and start from scratch. Those territories with absolute Russian majority are only a drag to new Ukraine anyway.
But politicians would play Russian card over and over again and Ukraine would just stuck in current state like Moldova with Transnistria. The only way to go is cut off those territories, cut off diplomatic relationship with Russia and build something like Eastern Slovakia. Irrelevant, but comfy and nice country to live in.
