Lost my virginity to her not too long ago (i told her she was my first days later) and I got carried away and think I was rushing things. She has insisted I haven’t done anything wrong and says “she gets weird and distant whenever she feels like she needs to put in more”. So right now I’m just giving her space but what should I do next? I feel like it’s mostly bullshit and she’s just being very nice about it but she did initiate hanging out and hooking up the last time we were together.

Seems like you got too clingy too quick, or were a bad fuck and she’s turned off. Your best bet is to send a casual text being like “hey I was enjoying hanging out with you but since you’re being pretty weird it’s cool if I’m seeing other people, yea?” Then just don’t contact her again and wait. Yea she did tell me that she “doesn’t do relationships” even though I didn’t really bring it up but yea I was definitely too clingy. It’s a reoccurring issue of mine that’s I’m tryna work on but I’m having difficulties with.
