It might not be New York but the skyline in London is becoming pretty cool. Seems like there's a new high rise building every month. When I was a kid the only skyscraper in the city was "One Canada Water", the tower at the right with the pointy blue roof.

london is built on clay whereas new york is built on granite
it's why tunnels can get built really quickly in london but take a long time in new york
