RUSSIA AND CHINA BORDER

Look at the image. This is the Russian and chinese border on the Amur river.

The Chinese side is highly populated and productive farmland. The russian side is not. But it's the same river and the same land.

Are Russians unable to farm? Could I take some machinery there and start some farms because the Russians are so useless they can't even do the same as the Chinese have been doing for centuries?

It is close to Beijing of China, but very far from Moscow of Russia.
So that is important for China, but not for Russia.

bump

Russia doesn't need to farm there. Russia doesn't do shit with most of its land area, because its population is only one 10th of China's.

they could sell it to the world and become agro superpower competing with the US

Stop doing agroculture, learn permaculture

>Invest in Russia
>Get profits
>Your business gets taken away by FSB on fabricated charges

my neighbour and distant relative is a farmer and married to a russian woman. he tought as you do, wanted to start some farming in russia. but the corruption made it impossible, he just gave up on it. you have to pay out of your ass for everything and if you make some money out of it they find a way to take that as well.

Russia doesn't like foreign investments, and foreign companies are afraid to invest in Russia because of the massive mandatory bribing and constant danger of the state arbitrarily seizing the assets under the guise of national security.

Already

I am of a farming business as well, the agricultural fronteer in Brazil is ending and it is time to look elsewhere

Russia should incentivize occupation and usage of these eastern lands! Imagine all the shekels

please tell putin to fix

>wanted to start some farming in russia
rofl

Nah. Just locals took advantage of foreigner who doesn't Russian laws.
Lands of European and South Russia are much profitable. No real needs to mass agriculture East.

The plains in Northeast China are blessed with highly fertile soil that is the same type as the soil in farmlands of Ukraine and southern Russia. It is one of the world’s major producing regions of soybeans, maize, and ironically rice.

it's a feature of puticonomy

>become agro superpower competing with the US
But we're already

russia is a mixed shithole, to visit them and travel there is fine, but never invest money there.

And this is all without using the east.

Russia's population is just too small to take care of those lands. Each Chinese Man should be given a piece of that arable land, some money to start the farming business and an ethnic russian wife. I hope they'll pass this plan in the government and invite the Chinese Men to cultivate our lands and our women.

yes yes i am uniformed, i only knew about pig production

just produce more russian

Isn't this essentially happening already, just not initiated by the state?

>t. Bogdan

>i only knew about pig production
I bet you have some Ukrainian heritage?

What for? The soil of the South European Russia is much more fertile.

Argentina, what happened?

That's some weird letter spacing on Amur right there.

To be fair, that is exports which you get from gross production minus the domestic consumption. Russia has lower population than say, US, EU and China.

bc everything you do is inefficent and generally crappy. you have so much potential but does nothing about it. wtf dont you make some laws to stop locals from scaring off foreign investors?

Feels bad man

Maybe they consider this natural area is worth more unspoiled.

Its better to save forests than destroy the nature.

Chinese google maps are actually inaccurate on purpose because it's illegal to make an accurate map of china unless the state gives you permission

>hmm i wonder why food prices are increasing so much

All that red and orange in Brazil is the biggest soy producing land in the world

>No real needs to mass agriculture East

Feeding China.
