There are entire swathes of the country that are Hispanic, Black or Native American and yet there's no Reconquista movement, no New Africa movement, no great Chinese infiltration, no Native independence movements... lol you don't know how affirmative action works here. Plain and simple, Asians outclass everyone. If race was not taken into consideration. No white male would get a job.

Schools here actually use affirmative action to get white men into universities. Women and Asians outnumber men and other races. If you're male you have a higher chance to get in, and if you're non asian you also stand a greater chance to get in.

The number of Blacks going into universities isn't even that high and they only go to ones nearby family, financially viable or a step up (going to a better school nearby or in state).

Hell in terms of AA beneficiaries women and white women in particular benefited the most from it.

Harvard actually sends letters to people from states (particularly Midwest, rural states)that have weak admissions numbers into it ie. not many people from them apply to Harvard. Many other universities don't employ AA polices but do it based off say financial status which tends to correlate by zip code, race, locations etc. Others do it like Texas A&M where top 10% from each high school get admitted which is good in theory but has certain flaws to it.

This. Many European states their statistics area TOTAL crapshoot and rely on guessing to get a lot of their numbers. Harper cancelled our mandatory census forms so now all our statistics are way less accurate then they used to until they were reinstated by Trudeau.

Only times i've felt i've been treated differently (stretching the meaning of the word) is when I was in small towns in bumfuck nowhere in the midwest and west virginia. But the same would happen to you if you went into a shithole rural town outside the US.
