How to reinvest

just got my first check of 500$, what can i reinvest my money in that will give me returns? I already know about P2P lending, but what else is there where my money would be well spent?

If only it was that easy user...

wtf do you mean?

invest in yourself
go learn a trade skill
then come back with your 50k check and ask what shitcoin to gamble it on

Investing is a meme. No one does it anymore. You should try investing in yourself OP baka...

invest in yourself you nigger
buy a fucking tracksuit and go meet some women

>invest in urself
that's what i'm doing, i'm just asking where to put it so i can have dividends. Peer-to-peer lending like i mentioned is already one good use, otherwise most of the skills i can learn are free to learn (thanks to piracy).

I'll try that but after everything else, please stop shilling coins, it makes the entire thing look like a ponzi scheme.

wow 500$ welcome to the big boys club

pretty much your only option at that amount is going to be illegal drugs

Why do you retards like p2p lending so much?

>invest money in projects, like you would do in a bank
>get returns of 2-10%
>earn money passively on investments
what's not to love user?

>spells it check
>puts the $ on the wrong side of the amount

never going to make it

There's still a risk. Are you dumb? If those hobos don't pay you back you don't get shit.

"what's not to love?"

i never said it was perfect, also the loaners are screened before they get access to your moni, so most of the time you will most assuredly get returns.

500 dollars.. is this really worth starting a thread over? LOL . op is a big boy!! op do you want your chicken tendies? Have you earned enough good boy points?

That can buy some really comfortable silk lined kneepads.

A whole while ago I took the time to find out about the experiences and average returns people have had with p2p lending. To make it short, the result was really disappointing, but to be expected.
At least one third of the loaners don't pay back at all or only pay back a small amount. Most legal action does not lead anywhere. With good diversification, most people p2p lending either just manage to break even or just get out with only a sliight profit - after having gone through a lot of worrying and sweating.

tl;dr: It just isn't worth it. Makes sense after all. Why do you think those people would have to get a p2p loan instead of a normal one? Bad rating.

>so most of the time you will most assuredly get returns.
yeah that's bullshit. p2p lending wouldn't be a thing if you could somehow screen people that aren't able to pay off the loan before they take it.
it's either low risk or high yield, you can't have it both ways
not to mention you're paying extra to have a company run around and doing all the leg work for you.

[citation needed]

>...you're paying extra to have a company...
want to know how i know you don't know jack shit?

to be fair he could buy some FUN right now and when that coin reaches 50 cents he will easily 25x his 500

Man OP, there are some total dipshits commenting back at you. Take your money and divide it up % wise into some investments.

1. Ultra high risk gambling money - Bitcoin and altcoins. I don't recommend getting into altcoins unless you know what you are doing. Bitcoin long run has the best risk/reward profile and should be bought. Put in 5-10% of your paycheck into it.
2. Dividend paying stocks. You could buy some dividend paying stocks that pay 5-10% annually. Look at some pipeline companies or refiners. Put 30-50% into this.
3. The rest just as you said, put into P2P lending or put it into a retirement fund via a ROTH IRA or if your employer has ROTH 401k.

I'm trying to save $1000 so I can go gamble at the casino

No fuck that that's stupid just go all in crypto.
Let the peasants take the boomer gains.

>...you're paying extra to have a company...
I mean you're paying middle man to find and list a bunch of companies instead of investing in them directly
>Dividend paying stocks
literally no point in doing this and you pay your taxes on the returns at a higher tax bracket.

thanks man, you've been a massive help. Taken notes, gonna try this tomorrow.

just gamble 10 and use pyschology to trick fellow gamblees into betting much more then you, that way if you win, you WIN.

> mean you're paying middle man to find and list a bunch of companies instead of investing in them directly
wrong again, they take 1.5% of you dividends from successful investments, and you get 8-9% returns on your investment amount.

>literally no point in doing this and you pay your taxes on the returns at a higher tax bracket.
do you live in the United Kuckdom?

>you're paying middle man to find and list a bunch of companies
>wrong again, they take 1.5% of you dividends from successful investments
what?

>do you live in the United Kuckdom?
how are you under the impression you don't pay taxes on dividend income?

>what?
you don't pay for the service, its free. Also yes they, as a service provider, provide info about companies and the like so you can invest with certainty, and in return they get a fraction of your dividends from successful investments. Do you have a problem with that?

>how are you under the impression you don't pay taxes on dividend income?
because i don't get cucked by my gov?

>you don't pay for the service, its free.
>they get a fraction of your dividends from successful investments
in the same line of thought. that's some impressive mental gymnastics.

>because i don't get cucked by my gov?
actually, never mind. your government will put your money to better use than you can yourself.

Do you already have a nest egg of half a year's worth of pay? If you can avoid a tragedy by having money to fall back on, it will pay you in all the credit card interest that you don't have to pay.
