>it's an americans "jokingly" talk about a notorious criminal being brutally and repeatedly raped by big dicked niggas episode
>Alabama Prison
Wonder what it is full of
prison problem is long known, nobody wants to do anything about it
Implying the people "joking" about it aren't turned on
>"Cruel and unusual punishment is prohibited by the Constitution, bro"
>"Hahaha, I hope [criminal with publicity] gets his boipussy DESTROYED by Jamal in the slammer lmao"
I really don't but that is what is happening
Bring back press gangs
We were never joking though
You do not want to go to prison here
Wasnt the First step act supposed to change some of it?
Isn't slavery still legal in prisons?
>I agree with my blue-haired female friends that we live in a rape culture. That is why I'm in favour of prison reform.
no, that's for people getting out of prison
It means the government can't inflict cruel and unusual punishment. Nothing is said about the Crips members in Cell Block 9.
Oh, I see
>It means the government can't inflict cruel and unusual punishment
I mean, as long as you call it enhanced interrogation it seems to be fine for the govt to do whatever the fuck they want
government aren't keeping these prisons, most are private that has problems, federal prisons are much safer
Most people don't want to do anything about it because they have a "Can't do the time, don't do the crime" way of thinking.
> tied up and tortured for two days while no one noticed
Wtf USA? It takes two days to find out that a prisoner was missing? Knowing exactly when and where all prisoners are at any given moment is the most important part of prison management, isn't it?
Even considering having a system of private prisons is pretty fucked if you ask me...
Our prisons are private btw so they can do whatever they want
Americans will defend this
>It means the government can't inflict cruel and unusual punishment. Nothing is said about the federal government turning a blind eye towards cruel and unusual punishment
it was reagan during the drug wars
how insane do you have to be to privatize your prisons?
abolish prison. replace with a system of restorative justice. people in america associate justice with punishment when we should be working towards restoring BOTH the victim and the offender
Based CIA bringing crack to the USA to fund Central American death squads and blaming the nogs for it. One of those CIA planes is a popular restaurant in Costa Rica now.
elavion.net
the vast majority of prisons aren't private, retard.
>You can't just allow cruel and unusual punishment, it's illegal!
Thats basically how the entire rest of the western world does it and it seems to work.
Seems weird as fuck that you guys havent understood that
they kill the dude that exposed them so not really based, just very evil
Sickening. Might as well begin executing people more if you're gonna put them through that shit
American prison seems fucked, casual violence and rape and it's all private for profit shit with laws rigged to help them grow.
>St. Clair Correctional Facility is an Alabama state men's prison located in Springville, St. Clair County, Alabama.
Well, the two top guys behind the whole Iran/Contra operation and the drug trade were rewarded by Trump, maybe it does pay off to be a traitor in the USA. North is in charge of the NRA and Abrams is in charge of the operations against Venezuela.
Russian prisons are just as worse if not more
> In 2018, 8.41% of prisoners in the United States were housed in private prisons
>In 2018, 18.4% of prisoners in Australia were held in private prisons.
it's like nobody on Jow Forums ever bothers to look up information
I thought it was much higher in the US. Also we also have the kinda fucked prison system.
Based and factpilled
This sort of thing unfortunately happens because Alabama is a poor state, has been since the Civil War, and the poorer you are, the worse your prisons are going to become.
>private prisons
what the fuck
lmao, thats more violence in prison during a week then we have had for the past 10 years
Actually the government is responsible for your wellbeing while holding you captive. By knowingly allowing the mistreatment of prisoners by other prisoners they facilitate this.
>shit state
>shit people
>shit prisons
Is anyone really surprised?
just dont go to jail lmao
Blame Republicans
A lot are, and the fact that they even exist are retarded
It’s literally incentive to send people to jail for some unscrupulous judges
isolation is so much better. also lack of rooms.
>A lot are, and the fact that they even exist are retarded
ok, cool. then argue this instead of repeating misinformation.
God you are such a cuck. I can tell you have never been a victim or known anyone who was a victim.
Where did I say anything incorrect? We have private prisons
>my FEELINGS tell me prison needs to be this way! my FEELINGS are what should dictate law! you have to FEEL what I have FELT to understand!
are you a woman?
Anyone has the story of the punk liberal faggot that got train raped by 40 niggers ?
Forgot to saved it
>up until that time I had no idea that men could be raped or that the guards weren't always the good guys
No surprise. Prison guard isn't a job that tends to attract the best and most enlightened people in the world.
You:
>Our prisons are private btw so they can do whatever they want
The truth:
>In 2018, 8.41% of prisoners in the United States were housed in private prisons
So a victim wouldnt want less criminals?
Listen, most people who commit these crimes can not be rehabilitated. They have(not literally) thrown away there humanity when they do these crimes. They are animals. If they want to act like animals then they should be treated as such. These prisons, though they are brutal, are a necessity. If people knew theyd just get a slap on the wrist for doing bad things they would infact do bad things often. You understand? Actions have consequences.
They should isolate the prisoners that assault (=crime) other prisoners, not the ones that want to be safe
You are pretty delusional. The rest of the western world =/= your country.
Is that why there is far less criminals (even the ones who commit murder etc) in europe that repeat their crime, despite europe in general focusing more on rehabilitation?
If you unirpnically belive the shit you spew, I bet you have never known or interacted with a criminal who has done time
But we still have prisons.
Rehabilitation is far more common in all of europe compared to the united states.
Yes. Never argued that.
Why? Who cares about people who commits crimes. We should force them to work rather than just be idle in a cell.
>went from all of the west - USA
>to just most of Europe
Scandis are an exception, everywhere else, prisoners are punished
I checked. It seems rehabilitation only works after the person did complete their sentence, right?
In France we have something similar but it only works after the person completed their sentence. And it doesn't happen directly after.
Not even sure what you wanna tell me with this. We literally have almost no violent crimes in prison.
In some nations yes, but prison sentences tend to be shorter then in the US so one could argue it still start while a US criminal would still be in jail.
I've literally never heard anything positive associated with Alabama or Mississippi.
I see, I see
>Cruel and unusual punishment is prohibited by the Constitution
What about electric chairs and quantamo
>>dude just dont go to prison
>so many laws on the books that not even judges and prosecutors know regular everyday behaviour is illegal
Don’t think you are so innocent. Everyone breaks the laws the only difference is that you haven’t been caught.
I dont need to talk to a person who has done time. Their opinions dont matter to me. They are not trust worthy.
Well, keep living a lie then, but at least I want less criminals who repeat crimes.
Sad thing is that tough on crime is tough on corrections officers as well. Look at the rates of violence for inmates on officers compared to those in Europe. So many COs commit suicide or have PTSD. This is common for police as well. Giving cops more money doesn’t do anything if anything it makes them more corrupt. cops in Canada can earn six figures, far more than an engineer and we still have absurd levels of violence in jails, prisons that result in suicide for everyone involved. Fuck short sighted Am*ricans
>people who commit these crimes
What crimes? It seems retarded to argue that everyone in prison is some inhuman serial killer maniac. Especially in America where you incarcerate teens for smoking pot en masse.
If you've met people from Alabama you would know that they cannot be rehabilitated
yes. in fact its coerced. if you didnt fight the fires in california you’d be sent to sitary. speaking of wild fires, during hurricane harvey prisoners were not evacuated and were knee deep in sewage water with no power. in texas prisons are so hot that a federal judge has ruled them cruel and unusual punishment. so get ready to pay more in either lawsuits or prison retrofitting when the real answer is reducing the prison population
>if you kill your enemies, they win
Ok ok i see
Yes even them. People who are willing to drug are also willing to do everything else. Werd is a gateway drug to everything bad in life.
>Murdering everyone is the solution!
If you want the state to murder your daughter for ending up in a barfight thats on you, but I prefer a nation free from Stalin-tier law
this guy is a state certified boot licker. there are many like him and there is no point talking to someone who gets off to spending billions on prisons
Just remember there are a lot of idiots like him. All over the world.
Teens aren't being put in prison for smoking pot en masse. You can criticize the American prison system without repeating myths you heard on the internet.
vox.com
>Weed is a gateway drug to everything bad in life.
Yeah, when you throw 20 year olds in jail for smoking it and they become unemployable HIV+ homosexuals with PTSD.
assuming you're not baiting, can you give me your life story? i'm curious as to how someone of your unique mental capacity ends up on a taiwanese basket weaving forum instead of engaging in more wholesome outdoor activities like a true red-blooded American.
The enhanced interrogation only happens to mussies and terrorists. And if they aren't from the USA the dont get constitutional protections
Most USA prisons are private
Not even close. Where you do you even get this idea?
20% are
Obviously that wouldnt happen. Defending yourself isnt a crime and as long as you dknt raise a violent child then you shouldnt have to worry, huh?and fyi,a dead serial killer or rapist cant rape and kill so yeah death is the solution.
>i dont agree with him,so im just going to call him what all my cool friends would call him.
Hey they shouldnt have broken the law. Its there for a reason. If you dont have a medical license to use it you shouldnt be smoking it.
>dont break obtuse laws
>btw im not a bootlicker
>most people in prison are not on drug charges - only 21% are
>therefore nobody is in there on marijuana posession
>didn't read the whole thing
>raising a straw man
I absolutly agree that citizens should allways be allowed to defend themselves, hell I support the full 2A. But I dont want to give the state the right to randomly murder people or put them in prison for 700 years because they fucked up hard. At least not if there is better options that can get them back as a functioning citizen.
They are only obtuse if you dont understand them because you havent done your fucking research. Stop being lazy and consiser your actions before doing them. Ever think of that?
You wouldn't be able to read the entire body of law in effect in America within a lifetime.
Laws are meant to reflect public morality and if you think someone smoking weed in private deserves their life to be broken and receive the same punishment as murderers, then there‘s something seriously fucked up with yours.
