Pretty small thing to criticize considering the amount of "should of" posters that come from your country.
Carter Sullivan
Sr*bians are some of the tallest people in Yurop, due to the I haplogroup that is shared with Scandinavians. Mexicans and people like them are small, and easily impressed by large Serbian sizes.

Jose Martinez
question: what's the difference between Amrikiyun and Amrikiyeen? They're both plural forms right?
Aaron Hall
Why are you seething mutt? You smugly claim that someone is not fluent because of a small mistake yet using the same criteria the majority of your people should be considered illiterate. What's there to be smug about? "I struggle to pronounce a few things, and that makes me look like a retard." There, are you really sperging out about a comma and a period?

How similar is mandarin compared to Cantonese, and will the language basics carry over easily. Are we talking Spanish to Italian different or latin based to germanic/slavic difference.

From my very uneducated deduction, it's mostly the tones and pronunciation that's different. The written language is fairly similar from what I have heard.
Andrew Foster

Wit is the color itself, blank is used as the color of the skin. You would seldom hear someone say "een witte man"
Christopher Ross
Do every Belgians speak both Dutch and French fluently?
Kevin Morales
>You would seldom hear someone say "een witte man" I hear that a bunch desu
How different is Latin Spanish to actual Spanish? Duolingo only offers Latin but I'd like to learn to talk to Spaniard, not Cubans and Mexicans.
Jaxon Thompson
>Die Schule ist am rechts "Die Schule ist auf der rechten Seite." or just "Die Schule ist rechts." >Wir spielen spiele. "Spiele" is a noun and has to be capitalized.
>Hier ist meine Karte, kaufen uns Käse Pizza. There's this confusing spelling rule where you can choose to hyphenate words where two nouns are joined together, and one or both of them are foreign words ("Pizza" being Italian). So I guess either Käse-Pizza or Käsepizza is right. But even native speakers get confused by that. However, "Käse Pizza" is definitely wrong. Also, it should be "kaufe uns eine Käsepizza."
>Es war eiskalt draußen, so ich geht zurück und anprobiert einen Mantel. Es war eiskalt draußen, also ging ich zurück und zog einen Mantel an. "anprobieren" means "try on", but you're not trying on a coat, you're just putting it on.
>Das Wald riecht immer als Blüten. Almost correct. It's "DER Wald riecht immer NACH Blüten."
Joseph Foster
Duolingo won't teach you how to conjugate vosotros which is very important as its commonly used in Spain so you must learn all the tenses/conjugation of vosotros + subjunctive mood and all of its tenses. Usted is used all the time in Latin America and using Tú to a stranger is very rude but everyone uses Tú in Spain to strangers. Spain Spanish pronounces 'c' in a word like 'th', you can look up explanation videos on youtube. Also some differences in vocab, like ordenador in spain vs computadora in latin america, teléfono móvil / celular, boligrafo/pluma, camaerero/masero etc you can find many examples of the difference in vocab online
James Sanchez
Your question is very insensitive. It's like asking "How different is American English from actual English"
Angel Young
You achieve instant fluency in your target language but now speak your native language in the accent of your target language, do you proceed?
In his defense I'd say European/sudaca flags calling us fat retarded subhuman 40 times an hour is also a little insensitive. I mean they're not wrong but the latter has no real place to talk
Samuel Bell
German/sort of Swedish and either way, yes without a second thought
Ayden Howard
What if I say that my target language is my native language
Actual English and American English have no gramatical differences. The differences boil down to where the letter U is and how you pronounce a certain metal. The worst mistake you're ever going to make talking about vagina sacks when you meant butt bags. The American/Actual English divide only really exists to web designers and localizers. If your hang up is with the term 'actual': Get over yourself. It's the Spanish spoken by Spaniards in the country is Spain. It's Actual Spanish. It's hardly an insult to Latin Spanish.
Gavin Reed
Don't know if here is the right place What's the difference between "what did you do" and "what have you done"? Imagine you fucked up and somebody ask those questions. When translated they look the same in portuguese.
Eli Peterson
