Any advice for final interview at Google. Engineering position.

They love autists

What do I do in a second interview that is with the head of the company and a "thirty minute coffee to assess the wider team/office fit and your interest in the role"?

A lot of companies including Google have been trying to hire more autists I believe, so hey maybe you'll get in. While you're there, can you update the Google Captcha's so they stop making me identify street signs every single time?

No

>Best in class

>Results driven

>Salary: Competitive

If you know its competitive, then you know other companies' salaries. Likewise they must know yours. Ergo why not just fucking post the salary since the only person who doesn't seem to know the salary is me,the person it affects most.

how about just limiting them to 1 picture at a time again? i went through like 10 just to to type this post

Earlier in my professional life I worked at a casino so that's always my go to fun fact for orientations.

If it's a company where the role levels are vaguely defined the same posting could potentially be filled with a new grad or someone with 10 years relevant experience. You're going to have to pay more for the later applicant in order to be competitive.

>Welcome to the company, user. Please stand up and give all 150 of us a quick intro about yourself

stay calm. they're giving you coffee to increase your anxiety levels and make you nervous so they can see how you operate under pressure

They're not all bad.

>a team player who can think outside of the box

we want a sheep who can come up with ideas that only comes from being a rebel

>long list of skill requirements
>ridiculous education requirement
>offers 'very good' or competitive pay
>no mention of hours or time off
>vague job description full of buzzwords

Why can't it be a two way street?

One easy trick I use is to initially try to let the other person talk about themselves. So if your new to the city, ask a question like "man the traffic around here will take some getting used to. I almost got rear ended on my way here, have you gotten in any accidents here"?

When they talk about themselves, they like you more. Plus the most important part is that it feels more natural + you can relax more.

It's kinda like the theory of it being harder to kill someone once you find out and call them by your name

because if you don't want to get cucked there's more than enough willing low skilled shitskins who will take your place for an even lower wage.
