THEY'RE SO EXPENSIVE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
i wish i didnt need a car
I drive one of these, ama
Is it reliable? How much do you spend on maintainance? What about the build quality? Read somewhere that german made cars are better built than mexican made cars
steal one from a wh*toid
I'm not C*nadian
Perfidious as always.
expensive, better save up
>Is it reliable?
yes, only adaptive cruise control will sometimes fail during heavy snowfall
>How much do you spend on maintainance?
so far I only had the bi-yearly checkup, it was something like €350 and an oil change
>What about the build quality?
bretty gud (unironically), no hard plastic, I have the one with velours seats
>Read somewhere that german made cars are better built than mexican made cars
I wouldn't know, but I heard that NA Golfs are made in Mexico, except for special models (R, GTI) which are imported
I would literally commit genocide for this
My friend drove me sometimes in his Golf (forgot the model year). Pretty fast and nice interior, gonna save up for German import model cus NA made ones break down all the time
don't know shit about cars but i've always liked bmws
Hey man, i would suck yo dick if you let me have a quick ride with that beauty
remove the gypsys
my dad used to drive a 7 series, very nice car. Wanna drive it but too expensive for me
Full race/rally spec and road legal.
I had the luck of driving one a few years ago, best day of my life.
>dreamcar
That's easy
would drive volvo if i can get one for decent price
American cars used to be good, kinda sad that most of them went downhill
Golfs drive REALLY nicely, I've never driven a car with such perfectly linearly responsive braking and steering. It's really just a comfy ride. The engine also performs remarkably well in cold weather, and overall it's a sturdy car. The main negative point is that non-engine systems (in particular: heating, cooling, windshield spraying/wiping) and the physical seals of the car doors are kinda shitty in cold weather.
I would strongly recommend in non-wintery climates (provided it's in your budget of course), and moderately recommend in wintery climates.
t. owner of one
Is it weird that I own my dream car and that said car is a 4wd Suzuki Grand Vitara from 2008? Pic related.
It's not very fast but she's reliable, full of space, comfy and never gets stuck in mud or snow.
I take her fishing, I go shopping, I cruise around and just listen to music and I drive to work everyday. And I love every minute of it.
Based
Not existant yet... It will exist when Tesla releases a segment B car
And satanpilled mind you
If im gonna buy it, itll be in Vancouver so winter weather dont be that big of an issue (hopefully)
not bad, a reliable SUV for all your needs
All my life i've wanted a chevy. i ended up driving the camaro off the causeway bridge
extremely based
elon musk will bring it sooner or later, he has to remain in the EV industry with more affordable options
No brother, that's what a car should be like.
the volkswagen xl1 for the city
a range rover for the countryside
I had my dream car, now I don't have my dream car.. Fuck my life and fuck the fuckers who stole it and drove it into a lake...
I'm applying for a job at Porsche this month. If i get it and work there long enough i might get a car.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia might be my next car . Just depends what happens politically involving climate change. If not, I’ll get a Tesla Model S
It's not only a price thing... Big cars are unpractical for big citties with traffic, for some reason americans tend to ignore that, they don't buy compact cars and as a consequence of that, their companies don't produce them.
sorry to hear that friend
>fuck the fuckers who stole it and drove it into a lake...
Wtf story?
American companies just build whatevers profitable for them. GM n Ford are almost exclusively makes SUVs now because demand for suvs are high rn
How long?
You can buy one of those for 1k€ at the local dump. Every new rich bought one for their wife before the financial crisis.
I need a frickin job
Need source
I have no idea, but i know there's a lot of workers who get one. You can find villages here where a third of all adults drive a Porsche.
>drove to the grocery store
>locked the car
>came outside 20 minutes later, car gone
>called police
>witnesses had seen the car drive off over a curb into the wrong lane
>they eventually found it
>the thieves had driven it 30 km to countryside parking lot/camper site and messed around
>done donut's, jumped it over a ditch (in front of witnesses) and then driven straight into a semi-frozen lake
That's pretty much it, police called and told me what had happened. The dudes who stole it got away. Car is fucked, chassis bent, engine seized, tranny blown, electrical system fried and interior soaked with nasty lake water.
So it's at the scrap yard now, sold it for the scrap value..
Good taste user
>volkswagen xl1
Just a meme car, sadly
This is what a car should look like.
That's fucked up. Sorry to hear it.
Did the witness by any chance describe the perpetrators?
a man can dream
beaters are the best kind of car
looks like one of those bumper cars in amusement parks lmao
autoscout24.de
There's literally a 1k € Cayenne in Italy. In Spain 4.5k to 6k is their price.
porsches are for middle to old aged homosexuals
Muslims or Slavs?
They did but their description matches like 85% of the young men here in the area so that's unlikely to lead anywhere.
It's 2019 so it's acceptable.
Also it's funny, the 930's are around 300k to 400kBRL, while i found a 996 for 190kBRL
*meep meep* :DD
You forgot gypsies.
Then again, gypsies wouldn't waste a car like that
White young Swedish dudes. This happened in northern Sweden.
double cringe
Because I need it.
So Jonnes.
Yep
Just within my realistically acquirable budget, Nissan Skyline Hybrid S or Volvo V90 AWD.
By the way why so many poor guys here fancy abysmal quality Volkswagen cars? Very surprising and confusing. Has anybody ever actually owned one or just bus-taking U18 topgear fans dreaming?
It feels like we live in a totally different planet.
Getting Golf 5, ready for wave of qt bosnian blondes this october pals
looks good
Don't these big fat machines get taxed crazy amount of money in Sweden?
I'm happy for you man. Can't wait to get my GTI
Its one way to own german car without committing financial suicide
a testarossa in black or white
NOBODY'S GONNA TAKE MY CAR
I'M GONNA RACE IT TO THE GROUND
NOBODY GONNA BEAT MY CAR
I'M GONNA BREAK THE SPEED OF SOUND
OOH, ITS A KILLING MACHINE
IT'S GOT EVERYTHING
LIKE DRIVING POWER, BIG FAT TIRES
AND EVERYTHING~
No not more than any other car
that thing looks delicous
or alternatively an earlier Coronet
Literally any mid 90s hot hatch shitbox.
I heard inner parts, brake pads and tyres for high powered sporty VW models are almost as expensive as those for real German luxury brand cars
They don't sell the Polo GTI in murica :(
;)
its still expensive compared to toyota parts, but it can be bought by middle class people
You posted it
Although 3door is also ok
t. hach
Polo is objectively worse than Golf
However in Russia they try to replace all Golfs with Polo. You can no longer buy a Golf from official dealers, only from other people who drove it from europe. Fucking retards, Polo fucking sucks.
Based VAZ poster
I just want a reliable car that needs minimal maintenance
