Nope, Brazil had already signed years before a defense pact with US and other American countries, which made hitler a bit butthurt since he wanted Brazil's friendship to threaten the US in the Americas. During the war, Brazil was selling goods for allied forces and Nazi U-Boats were sinking ours ships to Europe, including a civilian one, our Air-Force was already hunting U-Boats on 1942.
This "hurr Americans false-flagged" is a cringy Wehraboo fairytale, the only reason we ever sent troops to Europe it was because Vargas negotiated with the US Govt to open a Steelworks facility in Brazil, which started our industrialization.
