I never broke a bone, never got sick enough to go to the hospital, barely got sick even growing up, never fainted.
Why don't exciting things ever happen to me?

That only really works when the body can self heal. Heavier injuries need medical care, like my hand. Still have loss of motion but without surgical help I would have lost the use of three fingers.

I actually legit couldn't walk anymore at some point, I had to get a cab. Could feel the entire surrounding area of the wound, mainly where that circle is, getting all sticky and it kept feeling like blood was pouring out into my socks. Walked with a limp for a while before I just couldn't bear it anymore, forced myself to talk to the nearest place where I knew there'd be at least a cab.

They were nice yes, I think they got a bit scared when it happened (was a lot of blood) but they behaved and helped me get out of the forest without panic.

I was running away from a pack of shit fucking stray dogs, had to jump over a fence, or well, climb it since it was a bit too high to directly jump, the moment I got close to the top and put my foot up on one of the horizontal metal bars it had there, part of it literally just gave in under the weight, I don't fucking know how but it just did, then my foot got impaled on one of the spikes protruding in the middle, under those horizontal metal bars.
I'm just lucky the bottom of my shoes were pretty fucking thick and the spike bare got it's tip inside my foot, there was a bigger hole in my shoe than there was in my foot.

I have no idea about how hospitals work, never spent much time in there so I knew I'd have no idea what the fuck I should've done when going to one, plus I was worried about the costs, if it was going to cost anything at all in the first place too. ALSO I was worried about them probably having to forcefully amputate it for whatever reason or something, I don't know don't question me, I wasn't really thinking straight at that point anymore.
I randomly just remembered my mother always used to tell me disinfecting wounds is the biggest priority so I just decided ''Fuck it, shouldn't be that hard''. We had some first aid supplies lying around the house so I just snatched them and started digging into the wound until it looked clean.

You got to fucking idea how bad that shit feels, digging into your own foot, scrapping around the meat and skin inside it just so you can thoroughly clean it all up, I can't properly put it into words how it feels, but there's just this constant fucking pain, felt like I was ripping the flesh of my foot out the wound.

I stepped on a sea urchin once, toes first. Hopped on one leg back to the hotel room, got a pair of tweezers, a swis army knife and iodine and then removed like 20 spikes, some of which went like a centimeter in and broke off (so I had to dig around).
