San Remo

napoli

Bolzano

Brescello.

Campione d’Italia, an exclave surrounded by the Swiss canton of Ticino.

Niggers

only lived in Bologna which is really nice for the most part. But I guess anywhere in Northern Italy is great

This, especially for an American

Lol it's fucking dead. The casino is closing. There's literally no reason for that thing to exist anymore

i don't know,probably somewhere in po valley

>b*logna is nice
OH NONONONONO

Why is he wrong?

Unironically? Florence, bitch. But also Siena, Bologna, Perugia, Trieste, Bolazano, Trento, Parma, Ferrara

The undisputed, objectively best region is South Tyrol, but it's not Italian.

parma is god-tier
so is florence but isn't life rather expensive there?

it is. You just have to avoid piazza Verdi at night when the retarded drunk start trouble

I would live in that fucking fountain in rome and just hang out while tourists threw free money at me all day

Cope

migrants and dumb students.
it's in top 3 italian shitholes right after napoli and pisa

this year is going to be centenary of formal annexation of south tyrol by italy

#rekt

kys

Now answering the question seriously, probably Lombardy or Veneto. Especially in small/medium cities.

you are just envy that the germans living in italy have it better than those living in austria

Neither are germans though

Parma

Less than Milan

>It is not italia-
>here have some gibs
>nevermind

Yeah after we made you italians our bitch, showed that we're no italians and forced you to give us autonomy and lots of other things. We'd never get that if we were still with Austria, even though we're much closer to them than we are to you

>We'd never get that if we were still with Austria
I know. That is the reason it will belong to Italy forever.

We're only with Italy on paper, anyone that has half a brain knows that due to our autonomy we're hardly on the same level as you italians.

For me it's Locarno

Is Trento "German" as well, or is it only Sudtirol?

Trieste, so I can start a rebellion and take it back.

Culturally it's a mix between Austria and Italy with Austrian culture being the overwhelming influence though. Neither we south tyroleans nor them are "german" though.

I would probably want to live 30 min north of either milan or rome. I like being close to big cities but no in them

forgot pic

Also if it had a halfway descent hdi id be fine

The ex-austrian parts

>Mississppi
That's setting the bar low, it's basically third world at this point.

these are good too

Just imagine how shitty southern Italy is

in some small town on the mountains or on the sea in central Italy or Liguria

You would probably like Como, then

Bozen.

I agree I live in washington so id rather not live in ms or places like that. this was just a rough est. that i pulled from another post. in the same post it said Washington and Switzerland have the about the same hdi as a comparison

I'd choose living in southern italy with kara bogas.

And yet over half of Europe fail to pass that bar

>Neither we south tyroleans nor them are "german" thoug
cope

Sud-Tirol

this looks really nice my friend also lives about 3 hrs east so thats pretty close

With what exactly? Do you germans every think before you say something or do you just open your mouth for the sake of it being open?

Shut the fuck up you fucking retard

Trieste
Originalno, huh?

Verona

is south italy really like gomorrah?

My father was in the sixth fleet and always said Naples was a shithole. I didn't really believe him until I watched gomorrah.

special individuals like you do give the impression

Yes, even worst. The further south the more depressive it gets. With that said it's still way better than any american inner city.

they speak a dialect related to Venetian

Honestly I think HDI is the small shit you encounter in every day life.
>Can you drink the tap water?
>Are ISP decent?
>Is healthcare good?
>Are the people decent?
>Is public transport good?
>Is it easy to find a job as an idiot?

And so and so forth, if you can answer all those questions with yes you're basically Switzerland 2.0.

It's worse

Umbria
>comfy rural
>clean environment
>enough of rich history
>close to civilization

>yes to tap water
>isp is good enough
>my healthcare is fine but universal healthcare is practically nonexistent in the us
>everyone smiles and waves at me when i walk by
>my city the public transport is awful but i can drive and use lyft/uber. portland Seattle its better
>im not an idiot but people fuck up my orders at restaurants all the time so i would assume yes

Worse

it is not adjusted for inequality, though.
Mississippi is far more unequal

worse

this

Tuscany was really nice when I visited it.

The issue with tuscany is that it is too left-wing

>We're only with Italy on paper, anyone that has half a brain knows that due to our autonomy we're hardly on the same level as you italians
>But we're also oppressed by the evil italian government
Make up your mind you fucking kraut

Why? And can you give some examples?

Lol is this supposed to be beautiful?

Genua, Turin, Florenz, Mailand

Attached: gigachad.png (474x1064, 196K)

Whats so hard to understand? We're only "sticking" with you because you give us so much autonomy

Attached: 1529365775597.jpg (598x415, 60K)

>We
Are you from Sudtirol?

Yes

Neapolitan here, I got shot and stabbed 15 times and killed 6 duded this month

Milan is not really different from other european big cities in my view... It got way to cosmopolitan and so it ended up losing its uniqueness.

Milan is the least Italian city in Italy, from an ethnic and especially cultural standpoint

And that's a good thing

What brought you to Austria?

My romantic imagination says Sardinia but my rational instinct tells me some suburb of Milan

Attached: Alghero.jpg (1000x667, 207K)

Verona, no doubt

Attached: hellas-Verona-Italy_00c-ultras-brig7italian20k20336.jpg (600x400, 90K)

Sardinia is better

Lombardy

>Supposedly
>Yes
>Personally, yes, but it's a person-to-person thing
>No. Everyone's focused on getting from A to Z and don't care for social interaction or anything of that sort
>Fucking awful
>Minimum wage, yes. Beyond that, no.

Milan most likely

Venedig is a sinking tourist trap that won't be viable within the century, and the rest are less important or nice.

I am going to Italy in September for a few weeks vacation. I am from Southern California. I am going with one of my brothers and my mom. She is hispanic but speaks Italian my brother and I are half white half hispanic. Anything I should know about culture-wise? Any do's and do not's? We are planning on flying in to Rome then rent a car and drive down to Sicily, stay for a few days and drive back to Rome. Any advice and recommendations appreciated.

I think they're the sort of culture where you shouldn't use your pointer finger, use your whole arm. also, they don't always have bathrooms in the hotel rooms.

While I can agree as I have visited before, there is no shortage of right wing Ultras in Italy.

Just be relaxed and take it easy, but don't be rude.
Most people will be quick to treat you like a friend, but you might have some trouble trying to find english speakers.
