How do they make canned food? It is air tight right? The air had to leave somehow, how is it possible?

Canned food in Russia is bum tier
It's cheap (even tho, of course, there are expensive ones) and nutritious so poor people often buy it.
Btw, when I was in Germany I really liked canned sausages. I've never seen something like this in Russia

they can it on the moon

Canned food is fucking gay

Oh, I forgot to mention
I like canned corn, I can literally eat it 24/7

Got any more advice on canned foods? I usually buy canned mackerel and sometimes tuna. What cheap canned foods are there that are also healthy?

Canned chicken breast tastes so much better than normal chik breast

Only buy canned tuna and some legumes (but not all of them)

I can get a can of carrots and tin of mackerel for like €1. Coupled with rice, soy sauce and a herb of your choice, it's decent for poverty food. Good meal for a student

sardines, kippers, mussels, cod liver

Self made Pesto is way cheaper and better, you ugly faggot

>cans of ravioli
Ugh, last time I ate that was as a kid or maybe as a teenager.

Senaps sill, go buy senaps sill. At Lidl. Do it.

A can of carrots?

Yeah sliced carrots

Flagaoli
It's more expensive than fresh food, generally.

this costs 1,69 Euro and I eat half a bag a day+ garlic sauce / ketchup / mayonnaise / barbecue sauce

i actually bought some canned vegetable soup yesterday for the first time in a long while
was deciding whether to get vegetable soup or clam chowder
i think it's cheap idunolol

herrrrring

It's great especially tuna fish. If ever come here you'll save lots of money on tourist traps if you just buy a baguette and and a can of tuna.

Almost all canned food is super high in sodium here, including vegetables.

Doesn't Portugal have a big culture of canned fish? I swear I saw something where there are specialist shops for it and stuff

Lol in a can?

I think our canned food is among the best of europe, especially the seafood.
My favourite are olives stuffed with anchovies, I can eat that all day, I prefer eating them with cured sheep cheese and olive oil fried chips.

Have you tried buying real potatoes?

You don't get it, we can certain food items like olives, pickles, corn and so on, but these """people""" buy pre-cooked food in a can.

It's essentially impossible to choose good quality olives in shops when you're abroad in Spain, theres no way of telling the difference in taste because they're all branded the same, very annoying

Yes, in a can

From google
>You may know Portugal for its sardines, and especially the canned ones. Despite the common belief, this small country has a large diversity of canned fish, from sardines to horse mackerel, from tuna to anchovy, octopus to eel. Moreover, there’s also a variety of sauce it is preserved in, from plain olive oil to an explosion of unbelievable flavors.

We also have the oldest active cannery in Europe.

Forgot the price, usually it's 1,50€ for a pack of 3 and 0,50€ for a single can, unless you go for a more gourmet brand it's pretty cheap. I shop in aldi.

In Russia a single can of good olives costs about 1-1.5€
