What about resources for learning Hiragana and Katakana, most of the guides you listed are for those who have already learned that alphabet?
a language school in japan
That doesn’t exactly fall under the categories of “free or cheap” now does it, a plane ticket to japan (first class of course) is thousands of dollars
>I have a cock which atrocious
Shouldn't it be "I have a cock which is atrocious"?
/jp/ is not your translation service.
I’m sorry I don’t recall asking you to translate anything for me, but how about you translate this for me fag
お前は本当にホモ野郎だな
If you look up the Wikipedia articles for "hiragana" and "katakana", you'll find two informative charts that'll show you how to write them. I suggest you to copy every single kana down at least 10 times, or until you memorize them. In addition, you could try writing some basic Japanese words you might've already heard in hiragana (like sake - さけ, yume - ゆめ, kuru - くる), and non-Japanese people or cities' names in katakana (like Tolstoy -トルストイ or Trafalgar - トラファルガル).
if you’re complaining about how much first class costs then first class isn’t for you
I’m not, I’m simply stating that the solution he proposed wasn’t free or cheap, and the reason why I specify first class is because I would never fly on an international flight non-first class, but even a coach ticket to japan would cost money

Meido sleepy sleepy.
The most expensive stuff you'd have to spend on, if you followed the method I've suggested you to use ( and ), would be a notebook and some writing utensil. There's no need to visit Japan, as long as you do enough reading and listening practices by going through TV series, manga, VNs, etc.
I have a lot of notebooks writing utensil from muji already, I obviously watch Japanese tv series, however I have yet to start reading anything in Japanese, any Japanese stuff I read is with English translation
Then there shouldn't be too much trouble doing the gradual switch from English translations to works presented in their original language. Learn kana, kanji, and you'll eventually be able to understand more and more Japanese as you go on. The most "difficult" aspect of this transition might be becoming accustomed to Japanese grammar, not vocabulary itself.
I'm very happy today because I was able to finish reading the 4th page of a random manga with furigana I decided to read.
I already learned the alphabet (hiragana and katakana) with little mistakes here and there.
I am learning kanji slowly.. and I had a hard time tackling some texts I-m interested in because of the lack of ways to lookup the kanjis and I found a great website.
I-m pretty sure you will find these links and tips useful:
- Learn the hiragana katakana.
- Find a manga with furigana (kanji written out in hiragana)
- Get the jap keyboard input thing in your computer or phone. Google Translate helps a lot with this as you will practice while you try to copy letter by letter.
I use this website to locate kanji-s, its awesome!
Select the option " Ignore stroke order" or else you will never find the right kanji. Have fun.
>I would never fly on an international flight non-first class
May I ask why? I've flown from Germany to the US several times, and never flew first class (honestly, I cannot afford it). I never had any bad experiences on the flights, just at the airports a few times. But the flights were cool.
To memorize Hiragana+Katakana, the website realkana.com is very useful.
Last time I checked, they also had an iPhone app but no Android app. Maybe they have one now.

Where did this thread get moved from? All you need is itazuraneko.neocities.org
>boiro
Hot garbage.
I absolutely hate flying, especially 6+hour long flights, flying first class however is a completely different experiance (especially on international flights) it helps to have travel miles and some sort of credit card that gives you perks, also my job involves a lot of short flights which racks up miles pretty fast

>wanting to waste time learning a useless language like Japanese when you could instead be learning Chinese
I don't know what weeaboo board you fags crawled out of but you people need to rethink your life choices
I have literally everything on Mega. Do you want the links?
Yess
I need to learn Japanese because I work at an investment banking firm and I’m taking a finance job in Tokyo to trade asian stocks, also China is a shit country why would I want to go there
>understands current economic trends
This made me audibly laugh, as somebody who works in the global finance industry saying that Japanese is useless is pretty fucking funny considering that Tokyo and Hong Kong are the largest global markets in Asia (and they speak Cantonese in Hong Kong) and as for China they forbid most types of foreign stock trading so learning Chinese for economics is pretty dumb
>China
Yeah I’ll pass I’d rather not have 90% of my websites restricted and then get placed in an re-education camp while I inhale the toxic air from the factories all around me while it’s citizens spit openly all over the street
Also saying Chinese learners “understand economic trends” is retarded Tokyo is the main city for asian stock trading where as China is pretty fucked when it comes to that sort of thing as foreign influence on economics is heavily regulated and many sectors are closed off to non-Chinese investors, not to mention they only allow a certain amount of funds to leave the country at one time
