Best President is a hard category to nail down. Even presidents like FDR or LBJ whom I believe had a very positive influence overall on domestic policy still did shit like internment camps and prolonging Vietnam (though LBJ regretted it). Presidents like Lincoln and JFK are also hard to make a concrete claim about seeing as how they died during their presidencies and thus we didn’t see the final product of it.

Overall I’d have to Carter. He was just a good man stuck in a bad situation. People that say Teddy or some literally who pre-20th century presidents are just retards regurgitating memes.

FDR is goat.
Kennedy did many bad things (Cuba, Viet Nam...) but his attempts against corruption (despite mafia links through his father) were very commendable (role of Robert Kennedy as Attorney General)

Still, FDR is goat.

>frog praises nearly out-of-the-closet communist
Henry Wallace was an admission of guilt and the single greatest bullet we ever dodged

>nearly out-of-the-closet communist
How dumb are you.

François Hollande's 75% tax was actually never applied. (never happened)
But I remember historians who explained that FDR once enforced a 90% tax on the rich.
How could we not see him as a hero?
On par only with Robin Hood or Lenin and other mythological characters (Spartakus et al.)

Benedict Arnold.

Imma keep it real with you, I think George Washington was probably the only good president we've ever had. He warned us about the shit not to do and we immediately did what he specifically told us not to do. Poor bastard is probably spinning in his grave as we speak.

of course High Imamtress Jacindereeya al Arderni is the greatest ruler allah has ever placed on this earth...but we are talking about America here friend.

Jimmy Carter was the only good american president.

Donaldo Trompo

>A city auditor deemed Governor Roosevelt an odd, eccentric man. A recreation billiards table would be deemed acceptable, but Roosevelt insisted that he wanted a wrestling mat instead. He had found wrestling to be good for his mental and personal health. The city auditor told the wrestling governor, “No!” Roosevelt soon had a mat in the gubernatorial office anyway, and 3-4 days a week, wrestled the middleweight champion. When Governor Roosevelt wrestled a less experienced man two ribs were damaged with his left shoulder pulled from its socket. The other wrestler received worse damage with a rib that had “caved in”. Roosevelt abandoned wrestling and returned to boxing as a safer form of exercise.
>Theodore Roosevelt continued boxing as Vice-President of the United States. Following the assassination of William McKinley, September, 1901, Roosevelt became the youngest Chief Executive in American history. For several years he continued to box as President. He would box against aides, the security men assigned to protect him and professional athletes. Roosevelt was boxing through 1905 when he mediated the conclusion of the Russian-Japanese conflict. The Nobel Prize Committee named Roosevelt their winner for 1906
>Roosevelt appreciated defense but discouraged backing away. President Roosevelt fought at 190 pounds. It is likely the boxing came to an end in early 1907. He had been blinded to the left eye from a punch or punches by 180 pound artillery officer, Dan Moore. At first his vision was “dim” (according to Roosevelt) during the winter of 1906. He likely attempted a few more bouts but stopped when he became permanently blind.

>President Roosevelt swam and rode horses as part of his routine exercise. Roosevelt preferred to swim the Great Falls of the Potomac. The secret service assigned to protect him was against these swimming conditions but the President dismissed them. Roosevelt swam nude with his clothes carried on head.
>During a scheduled 25 mile ride, both he and his wife completed the exercise, but a colonel of Cavalry became exhausted and had to quit. President Roosevelt was so disgusted by the lack of physical conditioning that he ordered 30 mile daily rides for all Army officers. The officers were angered and unhappy by this order, but their physical conditioning improved and it eventually proved popular.

>During a campaign in Wisconsin, October, 1912, Roosevelt was shot in the chest. A bleeding Roosevelt insisted he would not go to the hospital until after he had concluded his scheduled speech. “Friends, I shall ask you to be as quiet as possible. I don’t know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot, but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose…. The bullet is in me now, so that I cannot make a very long speech, but I will try my best.” His speech lasted ninety minutes.
>“The United States of America was among the first to infuse the idea of peace into practical politics. Peace and arbitration treaties have now been concluded between the United States and the governments of several countries…. On behalf of the Norwegian Parliament, I now present to you, Mr. Ambassador, the Peace Prize, along with its insignia, and I add the request that you convey to the President the greetings of the Norwegian people and their gratitude for all he has done for the cause of peace.”

>was a sick boy but forced himself to be athletic and outdoorsy to get over it, so he became a boxer, hunter, rower, etc. but was still nerdy and fascinated by nature
>read several books everyday
>was a prolific writer of various subjects and books that ended up being critical in their fields
>came from a wealthy and patrician family but his bro dad taught him to look out for the common man
>when he became state senator he would mingle with the plebs and see their abhorrent working and living conditions and work to change them and told other senators to fuck off when they tried their usual corruption unless they wanted a beating
>his wife and his mom, both of whom he loved dearly died on the same day in the same house but he didn't let it destroy him
>told corporations to suck it

The only patrician choice is Jackson or maybe Grant

t. Muhammed

JFK because he was killed

>told corporations to suck it
>was a big reason America has so many amazing natural wonders that are unspoiled
In fact it was the Harrison administration that passed the initial conservation and anti-trust laws.

Washington, because he's the motherfucking OG.
Not only a great orator, but a bad-ass general and strong warrior.

For fuck sakes, he outrakes even 5 star generals/generalissimos and has his own bloody rank!

Washington's record as president was actually not that edifying if you look into it.

>he and his buddies caused the nation's first economic depression through rampant land speculation
>they also tried to restrict land ownership and voting rights to the wealthy and powerful
>siced the army on a bunch of people for protesting a tax
>he pretty much conceived of the president as an elected monarch and said things like "How can the executive branch function if the entire nation isn't behind it?"
>attacked Congressmen who had a different opinion than him and in his farewell address he implied that the Jeffersonians were traitors
>didn't have the balls to pass the Alien and Sedition Acts himself, but praised his successor for doing it
>openly licked British balls a little over a decade after the nation had fought to free itself from Britain

And he didn't say anything about avoiding entangling alliances, that was Jefferson.

Jimmy Carter. He was just a grumpy fuck who grew peanuts and wanted people to save energy by wearing sweaters indoors.

B&R

Lincoln
He's pretty cool

>openly licked British balls a little over a decade after the nation had fought to free itself from Britain
because who in their right mind wouldn't want to be on the good side of what at the time was the strongest power in the world? also, your flags' 13 stripes is literally a call back to the british colonies. the revolution was against taxation without representation by king george, not against britain itself

obama, jfk

Kill yourself nigger lover

republican retards keep failing to acknowledge the economy was in free fall when Bush left. We were losing hundreds of thousands of jobs every month. While Obama's economic recovery could've been better, he definitely stabilized the markets and put us back on our feet. Not to mention, he took the first steps in initializing the single payer healthcare movement. I know Obamacare is not single payer but it was the right thing at the time putting us in the right direction and making it illegal for insurance companies to deny someone coverage because of a pre-existing condition

bush for doing 9/11
