I think the "shilling" is somewhat warranted. LTC and BTC are the only coins I have ever paid for something with irl. The adoption is so much further along that other coins aren't comparable atm

I never had a problem with XRP, it has a good team behind it. However on principle I avoid coins that are created infinitely, (especially when the founders own a large portion of the coins) as I believe their prices/market caps are inflated

My feelings on Stellar are very similar to those on XRP, very good coin that is well developed, however it hasn't been flooded into the mainstream and achieved normie adoption yet, so I have not bought in thus far

Xrp i think will also stay around, but has the security issue to work through first so i feel more comfy with xlm being lower risk (relatively in the crypto world) with higher upside

Eh...every alt-coin dropped pretty roughly from January. But XMR remains the only crypto that is actually being used while 98% are just vaporwave projects or literal scams.

Also it has no real competitor in it's field and with the implementation of kovri/i2p I wouldn't be suprised if it reached 2k by 2020-2021

There was a small period in time where I had a small accumulation of Monero due to its heavy dark web use, now I see less and less of it so I'm glad I got out when I did. That being said I still wish you good luck and hope it rebounds for you!

If anything, Jow Forums is finally just getting over its irrational hatred of Charlie Lee and LTC. There are far, FAR worse coins that get shilled here on a daily basis, yet for months it was impossible to have a pro-LTC thread without some brainlet spamming "HURRR CHARLIE LEE" memes and shitting up the place. LTC has never been as Jow Forums has made it out to be; even if you don't like the coin itself, you can't argue with its past performance
