It's just some ICO scam that copy pasted Chainlink. They even took the whitepaper and pasted the scam name in it. Probably some Russians or something. I'm just going along with it for the memes

ChainLink was forked in january onto a new platform due to the complexity of oracles, and the fact that they needed to protect themselves from being classed as a security which people could speculate on by buying on binance etc.

so the current one available is the old version of the code and isnt going to be the chain actually used. essentially its why its fucking dumping for so long. its useless.
Sergy never intended for link to be on binance or even in random neets hands so he continues his no marketing approach and doesnt even fucking know we have bought it. so if you purchased link after january you dont get any of the forked tokens and are basically buying useless tokens.

no he didnt/ binance didnt charge to list shit back in august. they were a new exchange listing everything for free
