i saw this thread and got thinking like "ooh right yes of course important things are out there very scientific and we have a duty as a human race to discover and blah blah blah" and then i got scared because i vaguely remembered that black holes are galaxy destroyers and theyre huge and have weird time-bending literal god powers etc etc.
and then i realized i dont even have to care. i dont have to care about any of it. OP's joke really helped too, i was suddenly brought back down to earth and it felt good, liberating even. whats wrong with petty squabbles anyway? i dont need outer space. earth and human concerns are comfy and good enough for me.
