No, actually not many people live in the City. Most of us live in villages around the city, since there is more living space and its quieter. But since the country is so small, eveybody can drive to their jobs in the city on a daily basis.
Depends on which career. Small low-paying jobs like seller or similar are pretty easy to get, since the locals think too high of themselves to do such jobs. Most of the locals work for the state in some sort. The most profitable working sector however, would be the banking sector, where its pretty easy to get a job, but very hard to work your way up.

I was thinking about this actually. Firstly I think we're a diverse country anyway so we have a lot of different foods to sample. I think we also have a different attitude to our own countries food to the continent. We don't really have many English restaurants, definitely not as many German restaurants are in Germany for example. When we eat out we like to have something different to what we make at home - by and large English food is very easy to make so it makes sense to get something you wouldn't have in your house

I speak 4 languages. thats the standard here. Luxembourgish (yes thats an actual language), German, French and English. Since we have a lot of portuguese immigrants, many people here also speak portuguese

In the northern part we have a part of the ardennes. In the area where I live, we have the "Müllertal", which is also called "the little Switzerland of Luxembourg". The most interesting natural attractions would be our forests. If youre into hiking, Luxembourg actually has a lot to offer. Then there is also, of course, the region across the Moselle, with its many Vine plantations.
I must confess, even though Im as luxembourgish as it gets, I feel the most related to our german neighbours. So if any of our neighbours would have to annect us, I would be very pleased with germany.

mostly german tv. pro7, sat1, zdf etc. but we also get some french channels (tf1 and tf2) and belgian (la une). And, of course, we have one luxembourgish channel, our good old RTL, which is mostly news

Honestly I was surprised it wasn't a more popular tourist destination. So many historical locations 1-2 h drive away.

Depends on what you into. If your into hiking, good food and good wine, you can have a great time here. The city is only interesting on friday and saturday night, when the people go out drinking. The other days of the week, the city is dead after 6:00 PM.
