Imagine if New York State had a piss poor median family income like ours. What’s more everything is expensive from food, clothing, rent, mortgage payment, cars, games, literally every good here.

Half of the people here in ontario live in a family where the combined income is less than $66,500 USD. Why are we so poor?

Have you considered relocating?

I live on 6k USD yearly

Things are cheaper in Serbia. Unlimited internet with just 7mbit down speed is $51 CAD every month.

Vancouver and Quebec are even worse.

It would be okay as long as things weren’t so expensive but they are. 40% of Canadians are house poor (most of their pay check goes to paying off the house or renting).

I live on 1,5k USD yearly

Stuff’s cheaper in Russia.

Ok say things are 5x cheaper here than in Canada
The average wage in my country is around 520$ monthly, maybe less, which is 6200$ yearly. That is 10x less. So even if everything is 5x cheaper, you will have double the purchasing power, but i really doubt it's all 5x cheaper, other than housing

>Median family income in Ontario is $89,000 CAD for 2019.
my current income is around $30000
i could afford a cush life here in vancouver with that 89k
cry more you dumb zoomer

But you’re talking about just income not family income. Median income in Canada is $40k USD.

Nigger I lived comfy with 33k dollars in Montréal stop spending so much

>i could afford a cush life here in vancouver
Yea if you want to be a renter for life.

(You)

I'm moving to Slovenia or Czech

They don't report per household income here, only per capita. But assuming two salaries is normal, I guess you're slightly worse off than us. But not by much.

>house poor

That's actually a good term user. Never thought of framing it that way.

isn't our national individual median 33k CAD or some shit. that's fucking poverty tier

No we’re way worse off and poor. In Ontario the median income is less than $40,000 USD meaning that half the people working here make less than that.

Yes.

It's about the same here, but that's also including pensioners, students, and such and it doesn't include capital gains. I don't know if your figures include any of this.

I'm a student. Don't buy a house in a packed city and you'll be fine.

I’m not sure but that’s why I like using median family income stats since it paints a larger picture for the situation here.

>Imagine if New York State had a piss poor median family income like ours.
But we also have lower healthcare costs.

>But we also have lower healthcare costs.
that wouldn't matter unless you're a morbidly obese woman.
