Pretty much. The only other one that is considerable is Polish, but it's basically only spoken in one country. Ukrainian also has a lot of speakers, but nearly everyone is bilingual in Russian and the country is in an unfortunate state economically right now. Unless you are going to be living in one of the other slavic countries or are just really interested in them there's not really much of a point.

Cyrillic is the easy part. You can learn it in a couple of days. The hard part is all of the grammar and declensions

This shit. Most endings are recycled from other genders and cases. Not to mention Genitive plural, fuck that. Even ancient greek has ων for every gender in plural. These slavs complicate everything, they don't even want to speak Russian they want to speak whatever is more European or western. It's like they're ashamed of their gay ass language.

I learned Russian in highschool, I regred it, I should have chosen German instead, all Slavic language are useless outside of their countries. They told me Russia will be a big economic partner of the EU soon, and after I've finnished highschool sanctions against Russia happened. It is also a massive shithole with economy comparable to fucking african shithole, but I was a naive teenager back then.
