Almost drowned in blood when i was born ive heard, other than that no.
I visited Paris 3 years before first terrorist attack
Yes. Tree men tried to kill me once. I regained consciousness in an unknown man's arms, whilst he carried me to safety.
And there was also a childhood incident: Someone took me into the woods, and people found me drowning in mud. - I don't recall it at all.
Yes, twice.
First time when I was 16 and I hung myself by the metal hose of the showerhead and was out cold for almost a dozen minutes while my mother searched for the key to the locked bathroom door that had been missing for years since she sensed something was wrong.
Second time was when I was 19 and got t-boned at an intersection by a guy speeding and the car got flipped on it's side. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the memory of that split few seconds that seemed to last forever when we were hit and slid across the asphault sure felt like it.
Honestly, at this point when death comes I won't even be the least bit afraid. I know what happens, it might hurt a little but it'll be over quick and you won't even know what really happens as you just stop existing. I really just want to make the most of my life while I got it. Help others, make cool shit and live an honest and fulfilling life.
I was in a car crash on the motorway three years ago, some retarded kid lost control of his car while speeding (150km/h in a 120km/h zone) in a rainstorm and slammed into me
Amazingly, neither me nor the kid suffered any injury
Nearly drowned in a wave pool at a Waterpark while the lifeguards were fucking about.
I almost strangled myself with the umbilical cord. It's great to know I was just as suicidal in the womb as I am these days.
Was about to fucking die during a gym class years ago. Straight up landed on my fucking head and all the pression came crashing down onto my neck and as a result of that, my entire spine, probably the upper part more but it caused shock to the entire thing either way.
Was temporarily paralyzed for like 10 minutes or so, couldn't properly fucking breath, couldn't move, teacher pushed me back on the floor, held me down with his hand on my chest and just kept telling me not to move and to relax and just focus on breathing. The entire time I couldn't think anything else but
>"shit did i just break my fucking spine?''
soon after though, i could finally breath properly again and stand up, but my movement was still impaired and i could barely talk.
Had to stay home for the next 2 weeks or so, mainly in bed as well since any sort of movement would cause me massive pain to the entire spine. I'm well now though so I guess that's good.
May - 2014. Driving home from work, long stretch of empty road. Did 130 km/h or there about.
Front left tire blew out, I tried to counter but spun out. Hit the ditch, flipped about 6 times.
Was stuck in the car for about 1 hour while the fire department was cutting the car apart and the local news reports were surrounding us..
Had a punctured lung, broken ribs, both legs broken, skull fracture (impact trauma) and a swollen brain. Was in a medically induced coma for 4 days, had several smaller strokes.
Took a few years before I could speak normally again.
Friend almost drowned me once
That's some scary shit. I don't even know what I would do if I got permanently paralyzed.
Yes two times at least:
I was doing rafting. The boat in front of me got stuck on a rock and I crashed into it at a high speed I got stuck under the boat and the rock for 2 minutes and couldn't escape but finally managed to get out and proceeded to swim in the rapids for another 5 minutes fearing for my life as I was crashing against rocks. My entire left arm was open and a lot of blood was pouring. I also cut open my foot. Since then I can't swim without having a panic attack.
The second time was simply me crossing a street without noticing a bus. Everything went blank. I distincly remember having my entire life flash before my eyes and it actually took me 10 good seconds to realize that I was not dead.
I've been close to falling off cliffs and gotten caught in riptides and such but I've always gotten myself out of the situation.
Holy shit more! Those stories are actually fascinating I thought it was going to be a boring ass thread but didn't expect people with heavy stories like these
When I was 16 me and my friends went exploring in the woods around where we live.
I was climbing up a rock, not very big but I lost my footing. Fell backwards and smashed my head on the ground and also landed on my arm. Was just puking wildly and couldn't see anything. Arm hurt as hell but didn't care, was a open wound fracture so bleeding pretty bad.
Friends became fucking heroes, I was pretty large already back then but my smaller friends carried me out to the road where the ambulance came to get me.
Luckily my skull survived but I had a severe bleeding in my brain so had surgery and all that. Doctors said I would have died if my friends didn't carry me out because I was minutes away from going brain dead.
I once got bit by a dog. It was pretty brutal.
once i almost drowned to death when a big ass wave hit me
I remember I was in the water trying to get out but I lost my sense of orientation, then i got pulled out by another big wave who pushed me out to the coast
Was taking a smoke when the truck came crashing here in Stockholm. Was like 40 cm from getting crushed and saw people die..
od'd on a rape drug
got hypothermia once in january
I was riding my bike and bumped into a power line that was hanging down, it wasnt on though
Don't know it if really counts but my parents change our travel date by 1 day when I was 2 years old.
The ship they were originally going to be on? The MS Estonia. She sank that same night, and 852 people died.
>en.wikipedia.org
This is the final radio conversations from the Estonia and the rescue ships. It was too late..
>youtube.com
I'm gonna listen to this
Some junkie tried to rob me and demanded money from me, I saw he was completely high so I told him to fuck off. Then I saw him running away and a few seconds later I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I looked down and saw my shirt turning red. That waste of oxygen had stabbed me with a screw driver or something similar.
There was quite a lot of blood, but luckily no organs were punctured or else there would have been much more blood and a risk from bleeding out internally.
>"it's looking really bad now"
Fucking hell, that's pretty sad. You can even hear the chaos in the background when Estonia is talking. God damn I hate the ocean and I hate ships.
It's pretty fucked up. The last message from the captain is just scary. No one from the bridge survived.

titanics last hour afloat in morse if you're interested
This is why I don't go on cruise chips
Once tried to suicide via overdosing on heroin, but apparently I'm hard to kill so I woke up in my own vomit instead haha.
Oh yeah and my parents told me that when I was a small toddler I came extremely close to getting hit by a careless bicyclist that was going really fast down the road. That probably would have killed little me.
It's sad to think that when the other ships arrived and was searching the surface there was 800+ people stuck in the ship under the surface going to the bottom.
>CQD THIS IS TITANIC
>CQD THIS IS
goddamn
jesus christ man
Tried to kill myself when i was 13 by jumping out of 4 story balcony
After I survived with mostly damage to my legs I lied to everyone and said I was just playing around like a daredevil balancing on the ledge with no intention of killing myself. People still don't know
Why would a 13 year old want to commit suicide lol?
Twice
When I was like 7 my grandpa saved me from falling off a cliff, then he hit me on the head, when I looked at him, he was crying, It was the first time I saw him cry.
The other time, I was injected with penicillin. Turns out I was allergic and that shit almost killed me, I was in coma for two days.
bullied or something maybe?
I almost drowned when I was like 10 on vacation. Met an aussie kid and we were playing around, and we decided to jump from the rocks to water several times. Got caught up in the waves the last time. Blacked out and shit. Woke up at the beach with the lifeguard grill pounding my chest. Threw up up a shitload of water. I remember my lungs hurting so much.
It's weird. I don't remember anything from the moment itself after the first struggles to get up for air. Like my brain blocked it.
Based grandpa. My grandpa carried me for nearly 2 hours when I broke my leg up in the mountains. He was 68 years old but didn't stop until I was safe.
I dont think so, maybe closest I got was alcohol poisoning or slipping on a rock in the forest and lying there unconcious for 10 minutes with my dog not giving a shit
Had a heart attack when I was 18. Turns out I had a faulty flap flap thing in my heart so it kept open instead of closing.
Was working (painter) and then suddenly I woke up in the hospital with my parents and like 20 dudes from work standing in the room. Had no idea how I got there.
I was a dumb teenager exploring a building that was scheduled to be demolished. The floor collapsed on me and I feel down a couple floors into the flooded basement, where I smashed my head against the bottom. I stood up but immediately fell over again because my vision turned black and white. I laid down in a pool of muddy water, staring at the ceiling while being unable to move. The color then came back and so did my ability to move.
I fell into the river that runs trough town in the middle of the night, in December when it was -10 outside. Was drunk as shit, slipped and tumbled straight down a hill and splash. Police saved my life.
är ni funktionellt heemade för livet på något sätt nu eller?
finns ju en
>heemat ryggraden i bilolycka-user
och en
>fick stroke från ingenstans på lagret och kan inte gå ordentligt-user
här
Hitting your head is fucking terrifying. I've done the same in the bathtub kek.
Jo jag har en pacemaker för resten av livet, dom opererade hjärtat och fixa skiten men det är visst standard att få en hjärtstartare insydd för säkerhets skull.
>stepped on a snake and almost bit my leg
>got attacked by a falcon when I was climbing a tree, but my dog grabbed the cunt mid-air and killed it
>almost got hit by a truck but my friend saved my life
>turned a boat upside down when learning to
sail alone and almost drowned
>fell into a poop river while sailing and got leptospirosis, when I took medication I had an allergic reaction and almost choked to death
>fought with a nigger that tried to mug me and almost got stabbed
I would have drowned if I wasn't pulled out.
Other even, many but so fast that those don't count.
Är det något hinder för att kunna träna tungt osv.?
Hela släkten har skitkassa hjärtan
>Other even, many but so fast that those don't count.
pekka what the hell are you saying
What the fuck is with your life
We used to do some parkourish shit, almost fell down from buildings time to time
A few times lightning struck close to me while sailing.
I went rafting in Georgia when I was 14 and got thrown off and hit my back on a rock or something. It knocked the wind out of me and I couldn’t move, if I didn’t have a life vest I definitely would’ve sunk to the bottom. I was still face down in the water when I floated up, but my friends turned me over thankfully.
what the fuck do you do for a living?
From this thread I've learned never to visit Brazil but I kinda knew that already.
This one time, we were landing with our plane but the captain noticed that a russian plane was actually taking off in the lane, he pulled up just before it though the crash was really close.
Kan träna och cykla mtb som jag älskar men måste undvika långa perioder med hög puls. Inte för att det är någon direkt fara men pacemakern gillar inte när det dunkar på för fort.
drowning in pool as a child, female friend jumped to the pool (she was 3 years older than me, i was around 5) she grabbed me by my hair and took me the shorter part of the pool so i could stand. Thank you ximena
fucking based youre too dumb to die my man.
I broke my back last summer, fell off a ladder at work.
Had some plates and screws put in.
i'm from a small town in the middle of northeast brazil so there's a lot of wilderness around and most of this stories hapenned when i was a kid exploring around
the sailing stories hapenned after I moved to the litoral and tried to learn how to sail
i work in my family's shoe store right now
Didn't you become paralyzed?
How does that work? I thought if you broke your back you'd essentially be paralyzed.
did you learn to sail or to stay in fucking land?
Depends if the spinal cord is damaged or not. I just had fractures so not paralysed. It's just really painful and takes a long time to heal.
Yes multiple times.
I live in a hilly area and the roads are all very narrow and curved.
On multiple times I've lost control of my motorbike and almost fell down/fell because I drive very fast.
On one occasion, I got launched off my bike and almost fell into the ravine below the road but I managed to grab onto the railing beside the road and thus didn't fall.
Hej Emma :)
I'm a pretty good sailor right now, but I have to borrow my friend's boat or sail with him, because i don't have my own. thinking of buying a windsurfing board and doing that instead
God kväll på dig
more than once...
about 3 or 4 almost-car accidents
and then after a peritonitis surgery (i think this was the closest) i spent like a month of my life at the hospital
Hej Emma visa bild
Nej
Oh right.
Forgot this one time where I went camping two weeks before my finals and developed this fever and extreme pain but didn't tell anyone about it because I thought it was something that was gonna go away.
I'd feel extremely fatigued and in the exam hall, I actually fell asleep. When I told my dad about this, he was extremely pissed and shouted at me a lot, said that if I fail he's gonna disown me, etc.
Later, after he'd calmed down, he came into my room to apologize and kind of patted me head saying it's fine, that I just have to do better on my next exam.
That's when he realised I had a burning fever.
My parents decided to take me to get checked at a hospital but I refused saying it's literally nothing and that it'll pass away soon but they pretty much insisted and took me to the doctor by force.
The doctor took a bunch of samples and sent them to the lab for investigations.
Next day, they found out I had Dengue Fever + Leptospirosis and was immediately admitted to the hospital.
Doctor said later that if I had delayed it even more, there was a good chance that I'd have died.
When I was really young, just old enough to walk I fell in a fast running mountain creek and nearly drowned. Father finally got my out. Can't remember it, but today I am fucking scared of dark/deep water, especially if I can't see the ground. Might come from that day.
Away from that... well, I use the Autobahn quite a lot and like fast driving. Going at 200+km/h every retard could kill you and there have been quite a few situations that were really, really close. I also fell of a roof, got 2 electric shocks (one time completely knocked out by it) nearly got stabbed by some sandpeople...
>Dengue Fever + Leptospirosis
fuck I had this combo too except it was one after the other not both at the same time
Oh thats cool man
My dad initially thought I got leptospirosis from my dog, but he got tested negative so I probably got it from the hiking trip.
My platelet count was staggeringly low because of combined effect of both leptospirosis and dengue.
Was your dengue/leptospirosis serious?
not really serious
the only risk to my life was using medication i was allergic to and having to be rushed to the hospital while choking and shitting myself
Yes, I almost drowned twice, the first time in a crowded pool of a hotel and then in the sea.
In the first occasion, people took their time to notice that something was wrong and when they realized that I was fucking drowning they left the pool. Judging from my mother's reaction and the state of the pool, they didn't bother to call someone to check if someone was in trouble. When I was about to lose consciousness my mom saved me and helped me to cough the water out.
The second time I got caught in a current and panicked, only making everything worse as I started sinking and breathing water. Luckily both my father and brother were close.
I work demolition and had a 45 kg slab of concrete land right next to me. It fell from the 5th floor.
I have jumped in front of a car when i was a kid that's the far as I got, i did like it to climb trees too
One time a car ran a red light and hit me at a crosswalk
No broken bones but had he been a bit faster i’d be dead
Yes. Being American, I nearly had a big mac-induced heart attack after getting a 6 gorillion dollar medical bill after failing a game of twister with a state trooper
once i was sick and i woke up with 41° celsius, i was extraordinarily dizzy, actually i fell twice and i couldn't see nothing then was i taken to hospital and they regulated my temperature i know it wasn't a great deal but i really tought i was dying it was horrible
A few times. Heart stopped twice while I was an infant, and I had lung problems until I turned six or seven. Luckily grew out of it.
Been in a bike crash, flew god knows how many meters, skidded on asphalt some more, walked away from it with nothing but a rash.
Most recently, ladt year, after being sick with flu and not eating for a couple of days, I fell asleep in a hot bath. Woke up, tried to get out, and as I stood up I could feel myself getting light headed, and lost my vision. Barely managed to sit down on the ledge of the bath before fainting and falling forward. Hit my head on the tiled wall pretty hard. I think that hit jolted me back into consciousness. Would've been an embarrassing way to die.
I choked on a potato ship once. Couldn't breath for several minutes, panic level 9999.
Eventually managed to cough it out and I cried for like 10 minutes after.
Several times driving and this one reminds me I was in a Christmas market in Berlin when the truck attack happened.
>potato ship
"chip"
Fugg, this reminds me, when I was 13 years old, I and my sister visited a waterpark in Finland. I went off alone and got stuck under one of those artificial waterfalls. Couldn't get out, until some brown guy grabbed me by the ankle and pulled me away. Some (probably) somali dude literally saved my life.
yeah, nearly strangled by the umbilical cord of my twin-sister...
No
>Had a punctured lung, broken ribs, both legs broken,
Hot.
When I was around 10 or 11 I was at my friend's cabin and we went walking up this frozen-over river. As we were heading back, I decided it was a great idea to jump down onto the ice as we'd have to do a tiny climb otherwise. Not surprisingly the ice broke underneath me, luckily I managed to hold onto something so I wasn't dragged under the ice to drown. My buddy ran down and got me back up.
I wasn't hurt or anything but it taught me a very valuable lesson lmao
>be me
>be 14
>climb over wall in school
>from top of wall you could see into the girls locker rooms after gym class
>me and best friend being ninjas
>I turn out to be a crap ninja
>get up on the wall, fall down right away
>miss a 30 cm high metal pole on the ground
>would have impaled me
>run back to class almost crying
>never saw any naked girls
I'm more scared of the sea than of aliens or any religious figure like phantoms or the devil
>Mexico
Yeah sure dude
I'm not a cartel nigger so I'm not in danger
What the fuck is wrong with Swedeanons?
Are you all in a fight against the grim reaper or something?
Another one, although not sure if actually potentially deadly. Got punched in the back. Spine, roughly between the shoulder blades. Started to lose hearing, covered with ringing in my ears. Started seeing bright moving spots, lost vision as well. Felt very hot. Friends later told me I had turned very pale and started sweating. Got very sleepy, but tried to stay awake. Vomited after a minute or two. After doing that hearing and vision came back. Still felt like shit for the rest of the day.
That was me kek. Don't bully
Even completely shitfaced how do you fall into a river?
Almost got hit by a car while crossing a month ago because some retard was on his phone and he called me a nigger and kept driving then some grill who was closing the place she works at came to me and said "Oh my God can you believe it he almost hit you how dare he" and I laughed it off and kept walking
