Americans have bad public transportation

>Americans have bad public transportation

Every time I look out the window I see at least 3 buses. We actually have too good of a public transit.

I took the bus in America once it was a nightmare. You don't know what is a good transit system.
Even the new York Subway, supposedly very good, is utter shit.

Public transport is for poor people. Cars are cheap as fuck here, low taxes on them too.

Probably because your a soyboy who can’t handle a real mans public transit.

What’s so bad about our subways and buses? Does yours run 24/7? Didn’t think so.

>public transportation is for poor people

Nigger there are millionaires here that take the subway and leave their Bentley’s in their penthouse garages for the sake of conveniency and speed.

Public transportation being “for poor people” is a myth propagated by Ford and GM to justify the governments lack of investment in actual infrastructure. And you brainlet hicks fell for it.

You should be demanding mass transit.

more like 80% of the country doesn't live in dense urban areas so they don't need public transit

NOOO DELETE THIS
CORPORATIONS GOOD GOVERNMENT BAD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Clean your fucking room, OP

Lel

Yes goy, spend $50,000 on a new car
It'll be a good investment
While you're at it, help us get lower taxes. afterall, you could be a billionaire one day. You wouldn't want your billions to be taxed would you??

>letting the goverment dictate where you can and cant go
>never visit any national parks or less travelled roads
>never leave the city unless you're going to another city
sounds like shit

My car was $15k, and I paid it off in less than a year.
And nobody should be taxed. Gubbmint should be forced to work for free

Fat stupid American, why are you so fat and stupid?

I've lived 2 years in NYC, I couldn't list everything that is wrong with the subway without spending an evening on it :
- the burning hot platforms in the summer (the air conditioning from the trains is pushing hot air on the platforms)
- the polar cold platforms in the winter
- the supposedly 24/7 subway with only one train per hour on most lines at night, making it more convenient to sleep on site.
- the fact you have to walk or take a cab to cross central park
- the local lines changing into express lines without warning (a lot of times the people inside the train realize the change when it's speeding past the station they were supposed to get down at).
- the lines that run on the tracks of another line without changing their color/number and without other warnings than an unintelligible guy talking super fast in a low quality mic
- the closing of entire lines at random times and dates, making you arrive late at work on a regular basis
- the smell, the dirtiness etc...
- the fact that new yorkers seem to think that all this is perfectly fine so nobody will do anything to improve the system
-...

At the end I was only taking the cab, because the subway is just a big pain.
It was 4 years ago tho, maybe it improved since.

I've actually done the math and taking the metro daily is more costly than making monthly car payments + gas

I live in NYC still, have for 9 years.
Our subway is the oldest public transport in the country, it would take billions to upgrade it properly
I'd fucking love for it to get fixed, but it's merely a pipe dream

Did you factor in insurance. That's really the deal breaker

>every state has New York levels of public transport availability

You forgot the most striking thing of the New York subway..
THE FUCKING NOISE IT MAKES. KRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
