It's unironically cheaper to live in Canada just because of the healthcare, and tuition. Also groceries are the same in the states, except for meat and dairy, but that's because their food standards are really bad. Whenever I go to Fred Meyer its always just about the same, just looks cheaper because of the price conversion.

Why Canada?

you need insurance, which is good, because if it wasnt the case some idiot without insurance would get in an accident and not be able to pay for it.

(university of british columbia) it was founded by mcgill, the number 1 university in canada

UBC is kinda pointless. If you want to study I recommend BCIT, but the programs are kinda hard
