the eiffel tower is shit

No that's a Swiss icon, not a French one

souless piece of metal

literally never met a person who was still impressed by the eiffel tower after actually visiting it

there are quite a few notre dame in france, the most architecturally significant is reims

not to be mean spirited but honest they can afford to lose a few and still be okay

Except that Notre-Dame was an 850 year old marvel of French gothic architecture and the Eiffel Tower was a mistake that would only improve the Parisian skyline if it burnt down.

I was impressed by the Eiffel Tower only once in my life, when I flew over it. It looks beautiful with the Champs Elysées next to it.
Seeing it in person is definitely disappointing though.

>a medieval gothic cathedral full of historic relics, beautiful craftsmanship, and art is as important and iconic as a tower made of bent metal

The only way I was impresed was how it was such a symbol of France despite being so recent, the likes of Joan de Arc or Napoleon are also symbolic, but thry never got to see the tower

how the hell did they get permission to build that black tower anyway

What's that black tall thing?

my dick

it was for the world fair

My dick, wh*te boy

Is that the monolith?

haven't you watch the movie ? it's a remake, you touch it and you turn into a monkey

the usual joke is that the view from Montparnasse Tower is the best of Paris, as it's the only place where you don't see the Montparnasse Tower in the background

I don't think that's spokane wa, user.

I don't really understand the circumstances in which a person would feel let down after visiting the eiffel tower. Like what did they even expect?

>they had to put a wall around the eiffel tower to stop "frenchmen" blowing it up
