Not true ťbh. I know that in Heidelberg there's a currywursrt place( My Currywurst) where you can choose the lvl of spicyness. My gf took the highest level and ate it all but strugeld at the end (she's Thai). Same kind of restaurant in Dresden aswell.

The problem that I have with asian spicy food is that majority has that bite but fades away really fast. When I eat mexican spicy food, it has the bite, not as strong but it lingers much more longer and it sorta adds to the flavor of the food, well it is just me.
