Jow Forums relations. I've applied to dozens of jobs, I just got to the second round of interviews for some fucking retail assistant manager position and got an automated email telling me to fuck off. I just want to get a paycheck already.

I graduated in electrical engineering. I quit my job as a full stack dev two years ago.

All I’ve been doing is making waifubait games and Text Adventure RPGs and earning easy money off ads and micro transactions for over a year and a half.

It’s pretty boring and I’m planning to start a job again but I’m scared to put borderline hentai games on my resume lol

I don't search for jobs. Over the jobs I've done in the past years I've managed to build quite a good reputation for myself. Now, people search me for my skills and offer me positions which I then choose to either accept or decline.

That's pretty based. Why don't you travel a bit while earning that passive income before moving to a new job?

Have you thought about doing peace corps? If you do two years you can get your grad school for super cheap and even some for free. After that you can do proper research

I lightly considered it, and also considered being a military officer. My fantasy job would be in diplomacy, so I most likely need to get into grad school somehow. I don't think its realistic to walk in off the street and get a 100k$ bill, so I'm looking at ways to get it discounted or free.

the workshop i work in smells like man ass and man feet
i get greasy, smelly and i have to shit there because of the coffee maker being contaminated
my feet hurt from standing and walking around too much
when im 2nd shift, boss comes in rarely so we are free to bring beer which we drink either from the bottle or from coffee cups if we buy 2l bottles
the worker that cuts metal bars is deranged
the one that drills and cuts in groves for the screw is lazy and has a bad heart and other issues, he is only 27
the cnc machinist is on drugs
the shift leader/manager watches porn but doesnt jack off
there are tons of trash and scrap metal in the workshop, boss wont let any of them get thrown out
the bosses bastard son is the underboss and he is on coke, brings girls to fuck in the offices sometimes, has a nice mercedes, a cool guy, not demanding and speaks for us when we overdo the norm and we get paid more
the drill master likes to bring firecrakers and prank us when we are doing delicate dangerous work, like finding the touching coordinates for the milling tool on brittle steel which can turn into a grenade if rammed in too fast
every tool and machine is at its death but the brand new machines are near and we cant touch them until everything is broken and cannot be fixed
there are 2 workshops and one storage hangar, we are named by the entire company as the ''sick men'' and often make jokes about us, and in front of us which we actually find funny and laugh with them at ourselves
the bathroom looks like a revenge for something inhumane we did, i bought a seat for the shitter and when confronted by the boss alone in his office because he took it as an insult, i said that im sweet on a girl from the office which i really am so what if she comes to visit us
now im Romeo
every new worker that comes leaves in 3 hours and never comes back
ones that stay have a defect of some kind

Shit sucks. It took several years for my sister to get a decent/good job in her ideal career.

You're getting paid good money if you graduate and do research. It's shouldn't even be about the money. You can live comfortably while paying off your graduate debt, provided you have a job. Don't go into retail because you're scared of loans
