Blackjack is played against the casino. It's true that you can be profitable by counting cards, but since the loser in that case is the casino, any good card counter will get banned from the casino he is playing in. If Casino can't win there is no business possible.

counting cards alone won't get you into the green. you also have to memorize when and how to deviate from basic strategy during specific counts. not to mention have the bankroll necessary to account for variance or else it'll wipe you out.

- high skill level
- bank roll that can absorb variance
- a little bit of luck and friends in high places

a team is preferable but you don't need one. plus you can't just get a random user to join your team. you have to vet them and make sure they have not just the skill, but also the trustworthiness to join and share profits from the crew. i'm rambling....
