Why are Spaniards so lazy? Hagia Sophia was completed in 5 years.

why does it look so gross?

Do they even want to finish it?

Let's see how long it will take the French to recover their cathedral.

It's fucking huge and it costs billions.
Also when achieved it could be quite epic.

Trypophobia?

Angkor Wat is 500 acres and that only took 30 years to build. They also had to level the forest, transport all the materials from a quarry that was 30km away and build the moat for it too. And they did this all using 12th century technology.

Don't know why some people hate it.

Pretty sure it took generations.

Now i cant unsee it as being filled with disgusting Spani-i mean termites.

Spain please tear it down now.

There's some stuff where chaos becomes harmonic and beautiful, but this isn't it. Not for me, at least. It feels like a checklist of weird architecture styles all put together. I mean, it as fucking raspberries in a couple of the towers.

All the written bevelled shit about jesus/mary/joseph and the apostoles the prayers also helps it give that prison face-tattoo look that I think doesn't work at all. Not to mention the Jesus-waiting-to-jump statue in the western gate.

I wouldn't argue against someone who said it's an impressive piece of work, because it most definitely is, but it's not beatiful in the least. I think it's Gaudi-awful.

King Suryavarman II wanted the temple to be completed before he died because he wanted to use it as his mausoleum. He also had control of a huge empire to work on the temple, which is why he was able to get it built so quickly.

yes
it's fear of holes
shit's holey yo

It doesn't look particularly impressive when you look at pictures but when you look at it up close in person, it does look incredible.

>Feanco glassed Madrid but not this shit building
It's an ugly tourist trap for retards.
Sadly gaudi didn't got ran over before designing this monstruosity.

Ah ok this temple in particular, I thought you were talking about the whole site.
Well I won't deny it's a great achievement anyway.

It's a church, they're supposed to be holey.

This
Any architecture is subjective I suppose but I think Sagrada SenpaiĆlia is one of the best pieces of architecture in Europe

i think it's ugly and looks too modern
specially the inside
