No...

>No, I don't believe in God but I have an immense respect for the history of European Christianity and its huge contribution to society, philosophy, and the arts, and I'm an active member of my local church community, how could you tell?

"I'm a larper" would have been a more succinct way to say it.

Christianity held back all European philosophy. It wasn't until separation of church and state that we started moving towards a more livable society. We literally went backwards from the Romans. It's also quite funny how the most successful Christian philosophers actually borrowed from the Greeks and Romans. Thomas Aquinas would have fucked Aristotle if he had the chance

NOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST MAKE A SERIOUS POST IN A SHITPOSTING THREAD

This. This so much. Gosh, I'm glad I live in this era where the light of science is slowly overcoming backwards religious "thought".

I can't tell anymore. My old roomate was a Jow Forumstard and he unironically called himself "culturally christian". He also said the "protestant kind."

wtf no you can't insult christianity like that muh based and redpilled nu religion of choice even though i dont attend church or read the bible

>Christianity is a violent death cult created by sandniggers that's responsible for genociding many people throughout the whole world, most notably pagan Europeans and the destruction of real Evropean culture.

that's hot

The rape of Native Americans and Africans was far worse than the pagans in Europe, who had their traditions incorporated into the legal philosophy

>They attacked the towns and spared neither the children nor the aged nor pregnant women nor women in childbed, not only stabbing them and dismembering them but cutting them to pieces as if dealing with sheep in the slaughter house. They laid bets as to who, with one stroke of the sword, could split a man in two or could cut off his head or spill out his entrails with a single stroke of the pike. They took infants from their mothers' breasts, snatching them by the legs and pitching them headfirst against the crags or snatched them by the arms and threw them into the rivers, roaring with laughter and saying as the babies fell into the water, "Boil there, you offspring of the devil!" Other infants they put to the sword along with their mothers and anyone else who happened to be nearby.

Our head of state (the monarch) is the head of the Church of England

How is that any sort of rebuttal? I know Locke influenced your constitution to good extent, but his ideas were never adopted in England
