iraq has fuck all rights to that oil though. Most of it belongs to BP, exxon, petronas and shell
That was the same situation for the Saudis, they then Aramco bought all the fields and now the Saudis even own a lot of America's oil fields now.

Iraq is extremely safe. Kurdistan in the north feels better than Turkey. Theres pretty much no crime.

kurdistan has its own security forces, autonomous government and practically only pays lip service to the iraqi gob. they didn't get ravaged by americans. you can't mention them in this case .
most other places are dangerous. anything north of samarra is a no go zone or else you die
baghdad is ok but you never know if you are a foreigner
