Why do 99% of the best bands and artists come out of the anglosphere?

why do 99% of the best bands and artists come out of the anglosphere?

Why can’t any other countries produce great music?

Like seriously I can barely think of any exceptions, do Arcade Fire count as french? Maybe Bjork I guess? I like rammstein too but they they don’t compare to bands like the Stones, Beatles, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, the Doors, etc

>best bands
Who gets to decide which are the best? My favourite band is Chinese.

most other musicians from foreign countries dont get American attention but instead stay within their borders/general region
America spreads it's filthy pop bullshit worldwide

>Stones, Beatles, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, the Doors
all shit

Asians are incapable of producing art it’s a symptom of their insect like mentality

Radiohead and Pink Floyd are good.

Nobody even knows where Slovakia is in a map let alone a famous musician from there

France has made some good shit but it's weird and mostly not well known. And no Arcade Fire are American and Quebecois.

Based Vijay. Radiohead is GOAT.

Ireland isn't Anglosphere? They have made good music, if you ignore U2.

Anglo music is pop music like you listed and will of course be very recognizable since it's in English and has mass appeal. Except for Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin the bands you listed don't really have any special musical talent you couldn't find elsewhere.

Röyksopp is tight, and an old friend of mine (an American) was the drummer for Combichrist for a while but he has MS and is no longer able to play. That's what I know of Norway off the top of my head.

The best english songs are from a swedish group

I often listen to the aha melodies

>don’t know Varg or Euronymous

???

Tonal language + hip hop = ???

Well there are a couple of international people like Kygo and Alan Walker you would have heard on the radio, though Norwegian music rarely reaches international fame.

Varg is a terrible musician who made 2 good songs and about 300 horrible songs.

Most countries enjoy a healthy mix of local music and anglosphere stuff, you're monolingual so you don't really get to choose. That being said the brits were excepcionally good at making modern music when they were at their prime.

The best melodic death metal comes from Finland and Sweden.

Is this the most American post on Jow Forums right now?

I agree.

Literal Gen X-er spotted. Don't you have a fucking life outside this chink site full with underage aspies?

I recognise this band‘s name. Their band hoodies are usually worn by obvious incels.

I meant that's what I know and like, but I guess I wasn't clear. I can't do black metal but the history/lore is fun to read about just for the weirdness of it.

I'm not OP but I'm also gen-X and no, I'm afraid I don't.

Amen

Sounds like the most generic alternative/pseudo indie rock I've ever heard.

>Por que 99% das melhores bandas e artistas saem da anglosfera?

ho, you!

because it's in English, English is like the world's main language so they are easily accepted

Umm, sorry but the best music comes from the combined efforts of Italians and Swedes.

this. literally boomer shit that all sound the same

If you show the 2% of Brazilian music, you would not say that.

Oh I am from the Silent Generation.

I listen to a lot of asian, latam and european music. Even african.
And they listen to Brazilian music too.

Is not our fault If you live in this autistic The Sims society

To each his own.
