Humanity is not good, I would say that humanity is a mix of egoism and utilitarism. It's not about being good in general, it's about what is "good" for you and your people.
What you define as good is not the same as others.
Nevertheless, if we enter the discussion about actual humanity then well, you can say that we are a destructive force of nature.
