H-humanity is ultimately good

for every 1 person being tortured you have hundreds of thousands of not millions living normal lives and being loved so yeah it is, torture isnt the norm so thats why it stands out and is so horrible to us, if we were evil why would torture even be an issue?
>torture isnt the norm nowadays because people have to virtue signal
sure thing buddy
thats not virtue signaling though, thats reality and people living their lives. your juvenile "blackpill" bullshit doesnt match up reality.
>bad thing happen sometimes so all things bad!
just because your life is shit and lacking in love doesnt mean its the norm.
Humanity is not good, I would say that humanity is a mix of egoism and utilitarism. It's not about being good in general, it's about what is "good" for you and your people.
What you define as good is not the same as others.
Nevertheless, if we enter the discussion about actual humanity then well, you can say that we are a destructive force of nature.
There is literally nothing wrong with torture.
But humanity is neither good nor bad.
based mutt
Based. humanigs should be shot
The world is inherently evil and should be destroyed
The world is not evil, it's not sentinent.
nah you just focus too much on the negative.
Based
The world would be better of without the h*manoids.
Well yeah, but a world only with china and niggers would be a disaster.
Finna say it barely happened and was used as a deterrent more than anything else.
>God exist
>Allows torture
>God exist
>somehow Russia does too
does not compute
What if God exists but he hates humanity?
I would say that he would be in the right, considering that we are kinda screwing up earth.
ah yes the reddit Epicurus meme
Then why he's not killing all of us?
Some people REALLY deserve torture.
Because we are doing his job for him.
Why do your job when someone does it for you and in a more painful way?
Genius
Maybe, but the punishment must be within the law
Because that would be putting us out of our misery.
Have you never heard of the short story "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" by Harlan Ellison?

I haven't. Aren't we really want to live? Why this can put out us of our misery?
It's the easy way out, it's like hitting a child for the instant pain to teach him when something is wrong.
It doesn't work, to learn from your mistake you must suffer the consequences in the worst way possible.
It's inherent to our nature, we don't learn unless we pay with interests.
