Isn't this a boomer hobby? Aren't boomers going to pass away throughout the next 20 years?
I miss these
They are going to die and they have a SHITload of money they need to spend because their entire life has been defined by buying as much shit as possible and it will give them comfort in old age
Boomer grandkids won't be able to afford Picassos or bitcoins, there are only so many ways to preserve wealth.
I hope so, there's a lot of Yugioh Grade 10 cards I wanna buy up
1st Ed LOB/MRD/TGDS/CSOC, or DDS/RP01 are good.
DTP1 as well, and MF03
Yeah, that's why the market is surging right now. Boomers are retiring, so they're living up their remaining days by spending a shit ton of money on all their favorite things from childhood. It's like that episode of South Park where the Jewlery Channel was selling shitty jewlery to old people for crazy prices. That's what's going on with sports cards now. So if you have any old graded cards (especially ones from the 50s-60s), the time to sell them and make a ton of $$ will be soon.
I do I get in on this if I don't already own baseball cards?
fuck sports cards. this is the future. just sold today.
Something about magic the gathering players always disgusted me, but I can't put my finger on it.
>paying 200k+ for a piece of fucking paper
Found the Jew.
I literally have boxes of this shit. Comic, sports, cinema sets, rares and autograph cards, a ton of rookie cards, etc. Comic books, too. Collected that shit relentlessly when i was a kid. I completely forgot about all of it until this post. Thanks!
I'm 33 and i used to collect basketball and Pokemon cards in the 90s. I'm nowhere near being a Boomer. So sick of this Boomer shit.
You paid how much for a "digital currency" with no product?
>TFW a 30 year old doesn't realize he's a boomer
One of these sold a couple years back for $100k. Pretty sure an asset that suffered a value loss of more than 10% over a 2-year period isn't exactly a great investment.
>the must have item for the late 90s
>Hurrrr boomers hurrrrrr
>33
Yeah, you're a boomer.
Yeah.... you are a boomer if you remember that.
same born in 1983 grew up collecting sports cards, MTG cards, pokemon cards, you name it I was a card master. I'm so tired of this boomer SHITE. The last year a "boomer" could even be born was 1964. These guys on biz are complete retards all 15-25 year old kiddos who think its funny to call anyone with a full time job a boomer or something? the absolute state of newfags
If you're too young to remember Pokemon cards, you're too young to be on this site.
Stop using reddit spacing, grandpa

It's always nice to see the election kiddies out themselves.
Underage b& pls go
Sorry grandpa, we run the country now.
>not old enough to vote
>we run the country
Sure thing kiddo.
The card that sold for 100k was graded a 10. The one in the picture is only a 9.5.
