>Can't pay for your medication? Heh.. then die lol.

>I don't take care of myself
>pay my medical bills or go to prison!

we have higher quality medical care, sorry that you have to wait 3 months for an MRI

Attached: 9e7.jpg (249x249, 16K)

Stop being fat please, thank you!

buy heath insurance then
can't afford it? get medicare

simple, yet retards in this country can not figure this out

Not all diabetes is lifetsyle related. My cousin is thin as fuck, always has been, and has had diabetes since childhood.

this but unironically

>Ameritards actually believe this

You should have tried not being poor and fat
These costs are only for people without insurance

imagine being an amerifart

>why no, I don't mind dying prematurely to serve my corporate and lobbyist overlords

Attached: D0L9Aj1UYAAzBD_.jpg (1200x1000, 178K)

Plenty of diabetics are not fat. Didn't they teach you at school there are more than one kind of diabetes?

We die earlier because of obesity not our health care system.
Anyways I would rather spend a little more on healthcare than have everyone get free healthcare and defy natural selection

neither can foreigners understand how it works

Honestly my parents pay for my food, my travel, my tuition for undergrad and soon to be my grad tuition, so I don't really care that much.

No we dont. Pharma has been fucking us on medication costs.

I’ve never had to wait three months for an MRI. Also if it’s an emergency, you get it done right away.

>We die earlier because of obesity
lmao at americans

Natural selection is you never having a gf, not a poor man dying of treatable cancer.

They don’t teach Americans anything of value in school unfortunately

Isn't Japan insurance-based too? What makes them so much cheaper than America?

Why doesn't America have a free market when it comes to shit like medicine? You'd think that there would be companies in America selling insulin for like 30 bucks, but instead it costs 360$? Do they have a monopoly or something or what's going on?

Its true though, our obesity rates our higher than Sweden's. And I don't reallly feel sympathy for fat people, they chose to be fat

This
and the recent decline is from opioids.

I'm not paying more taxes to cover some drama queen's suicide attempt or peoples poor life choices (aforementioned obesity and drug use).

Being fat should be illegal
(((someone))) makes sure the price is extremely high

Yeah that too. Honestly the family behind Purdue Pharma should be executed Sack of Kings Landing style

jesus just shut the fuck up already you blabbering retards

I don't pay anything. ;^)

Because free markets don't naturally exist. The big eat the small. The big grow powerful, influence legislation. The big now stay in power.

Capitalism does not equal free markets.

Nobody should be dying of preventable diseases in a rich country like the USA.
This is a myth. The US does have some world-class care at (government-dependent btw) institutions like Johns Hopkins, but those places aren't representative of the care most people receive.

>Nobody should be dying of preventable diseases in a rich country like the USA.

you've started this thread many times

it's friday night there, go fugg some ugly british girls

This.
Pic related (prices of insulin products from businesses that are supposed to be competing).

This. I had a hospital literally apply for medicare for me when I couldn't afford the bill.

I know you'll meme me for this, but honestly: why are Americans so unemphatic?

First of all, poverty isn't a decision. Social mobility is low in America. There's numerous structural forces at play. You grow up poor, you end up poor. It has little to do with effort.

But also, even if someone would have made poor life decisions, such as becoming overweight or falling into drug abuse - both of which are, again, often the result of structural forces such as mental health issues, poverty, etc - why do you think they literally deserve to suffer and die because of it?
It's fundamentally fucked up. Can't you see that?

Jow Forumstards will be triggered by this

Attached: Oh-boy-here-we-go.jpg (294x294, 20K)

sure it is fatty, never your fault, always someone elses

Darwin, you fucking commie.

What if someone is born with a disability or mental issues

Thankfully not everyone is like this - IIRC the majority of the US population supports universal healthcare. Some others don't think the government should do it but believe in charity. The unfortunately large number of people who are borderline sociopaths and proud of it (e.g. Ben Shapiro worshipers) are just very loud and try hard to make sure that their opponents don't get heard or can't vote.

lmao im 22 and make more and have a better credit score then my mom and only maybe make 4 less dollars a hour then my dad maybe they should try harder, the problem is america has a debt culture

It's not about "fault". It's about it being fundamentally morally wrong to let someone suffer and die.

they get state money but if they have a meme mental illness like depression they need to get over it

>depression is a meme

Attached: brainlet 4.jpg (645x729, 48K)

they can just eat less and still not be fat

The only way america would be able to have good state healthcare is if fatties, smokers& high risk people pay 30% more im not paying extra for fatfucks to have higher risk to draw from the money pool

Besides empathy, there's also our two-party system to blame.
Americans spend their lives being told that either you believe that our economic systems are flawless and perfect, or you believe that they should be destroyed in favor of redistributing all the resources to the poor and stupid.
It's hard to break that conditioning.

What if someone is really hungry and can't resist

You're a little brat.

>you believe that they should be destroyed in favor of redistributing all the resources to the poor and stupid.
You should redistribute to the poor and stupid, hombre. That's the point of redistribution and a welfare system.

This sort of defeats the point of health insurance. In any health insurance system, those who pay and don't develop health issues (for whatever reason) end up paying for those who do.

unironically is ive had anxiety all my life and that is also a meme lost 25lbs in 2 weeks from being unable to eat but you get over it and if your so week minded you cant handle it your better off dead

Attached: download.jpg (225x225, 7K)

It's unironically "logic" like this that's part of the reason suicide rates are rising in the US.

>fatties, smokers& high risk people

They actually cost less in the long run.
Healthy people live longer and have much more expensive prolonged old age issues before dying in some shitty way just like everyone else.

and thats a good thing!

Attached: 1508274679856.png (777x674, 143K)

this, too many people go into stupid amounts of avoidable debt and rampant consumerism and end up saving little money

>your a little brat

I have never seen a single thin diabetic and even if they do exist they should be culled for being a genetic fuck up.

yea to many Americans try to go for meme 4 year degrees and since student loans cant be forgived even with bankruptcy they get fucked for life. glad i went into a trade make more then most of my old highschool classmates

That's a meme fatties use to cope

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5359159/

most Americans are type 2 diabetic aka the fatfuck kind

I'm going to school for a meme degree and than am going to a grads school for a big boy degree.
But I don't pay my tuition so no debt.
My older sister went to GRADS school for a meme degree but now has a decent job and no debt because none of my siblings have to pay tuition.
But if you can't afford college don't take out an outrageous amount of loans to do so.

type 1 diabetes isnt really a fat lardo condition like type 2, it usually begins in childhood and is partially genetic i believe. Idk though, my grandma has had it since she was a kid and has been skinny her whole life, 5'0 midget

then try harder

We will never fall for socialist propaganda like yurpoors, it's better to go down fighting than become a nation of disarmed cucked soyboys.

This is a myth. I remember finding this out when I saw a rather thin boy in school who had an insulin pump (?) attached to his belly.

Americans WILL defend this

Attached: image.jpg (1229x2130, 106K)

well you see life america is a corporatism shithole where both parties are own my big business and everyone blames insurance companies but no one holds hospitals are pharma companies accountable for jacking up prices

Attached: 1482826285351.jpg (627x800, 55K)

just don't get diabetes

Attached: 1445666074181.jpg (328x466, 26K)

Companies colluding through government legislation without price controls is the cause.

The US is a prime example on what happens when business colludes with a big government. Yet more and more people think an even bigger government with different people will be their saviour which is ludicrous.

>DUDE, YOU CANT JUST JACK UP THE PRICE OF MY MEDICINE BY 1000% NOT COOL MAN HOW WILL I EAT AND PAY MY RENT

You are describing pretty much any country in the west. The problem of democracy is the corruptable nature of the representatives, and the fact the market always ends up taking control of the political system which becomes the lobyist´s playground. Sadly this is unchangeable since the issues are the very core of the ideology upon the system is based on.

Type 2 is actually more strongly genetically linked than type 1 I believe, but yeah Type I more of a go-fuck-yourself disease that destroys the pancreas

Ok well sorry that you aren't looking, I'm in med school and I've seen plenty of thin diabetics.

Since you probably don't ever leave your house I guess the only diabetics you're seeing are your mom, dad, and sister, and they're prob all fat

Why are you so mean?

just don't get diabetes yo fat fuck

>Big pharma is actively trying to kill off all the type 2 hamplanets in the US
Based

Shame about the type 1 folks caught in the crossfire but they can probably get by seeing as how they don't spend more than half of their paychecks on food

Attached: thumbs up 2.jpg (473x590, 65K)

Sounds to me like corporations are the party with the most blame here.

Of course, but don't forget a government that allows them to do so. Business will always try to gain extra privilege by colliding with government. But the best way to fight and prevent that as you will is to have a smaller influence of government, not a bigger one.

That's stupid, corporations will then just skip the middle man and usurp those powers directly.

this reminds me of a yt video where this american rider recorded an accident with his motorbike on go pro; after hitting the ground, one of the first things he said to the people surrounding him was "I can't afford an ambulance"

that's fucking sad, america is fucked up

The good news is that the majority of the population actually supports universal healthcare. A lot of people just don't end up voting because voting is intentionally made inconvenient for wage workers and people without cars IIRC

>pay $9999999 for insurance
>still have to pay everything out of pocket
