*winter war

>CCCP gains its main objectives
>”Victory”
>Finland begs not to be invaded a few years later and gives them more land

B-but muh based anti bolshevism

Their main objective was to occupy whole Finland after the negotiations went wrong. The red army never reached Helsinki

>CCCP gains its main objectives
They changed their main objective to complete invasion of Finland, in which they failed.
>Finland begs not to be invaded a few years later and gives them more land
When? We destroyed the Soviets, made a peace agreement, gave the areas the soviets took, then decided to invade to retake the lost lands, got our ass handed to us at the end, and then made another peace agreement.
>victory
A pyrrhic victory, they won on paper since we agreed to their peace terms, but they got absolutely humiliated, and we got to keep our independence, which was our most important thing, so we don't really care.

no their main objective was to annex viipuri and make a puppet communist state in finland which may or may not then become an SSR

>no their main objective was to annex viipuri and make a puppet communist state in finland which may or may not then become an SSR

Lol, the whole point of the puppet government was to be the new government of Finland after Helsinki was taken. The whole point was to take the whole country, after Finland refused the offer to move their borders.

Main objective was a move national border from one of the biggest cities in Russia, i.e. Saint Petersburg.
Second, after the breakthrought of Mannerheim, USSR could easily take whole finland for sure, but it wasn't an objective at all.

Again, That wasn't the objective. They tried to negotiate moving the border, but Finland refused. Then Stalin devised a plan to invade Finland and march into Helsinki, thinking it would be a quick victory. This is an undeniable fact.

Nah, after you refused our counter offers you tried to take the whole country and you planned to make a victory parade in Helsinki.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suite_on_Finnish_Themes

>In 1939, before the Soviet forces were to invade Finland, the Party Secretary of Leningrad Andrei Zhdanov commissioned a celebratory piece from Shostakovich, a theme to be performed as the marching bands of the Red Army would be parading through the Finnish capital Helsinki.[2] Shostakovich finished composing on 3 December 1939, as the Red Army was advancing in the Finnish front and the puppet regime Finnish Democratic Republic was founded three days earlier.[3]

And before that you already agreed with the Germans to take our country.

No, that wasn't a plan.
Nobody knows who started the provocation for this war, but Stalin probably wanted to bait for it and lands could be transferred to USSR
>finnish source
>undeniable
Again, Helsinki could be taken easily after Mannerheim.
Also, the head of finnish delegation died at negotiations in 1940 year; USSR took more areas than were planned and USSR forced finns to fight with nazi Germany.

Offers were shit for both sides and Stalin or finnish army baited the opposite side.

Stop linking to wiki. There almost all data are rewrited by finnish allies and people who hate USSR and Russia.

you have not provided any sources for your own claims, so before that, your claims are just emotional babbling

I bet you can't read Russian.
lurkmore.to/Coвeтcкo-финcкaя_вoйнa

It's neutral source, have fun to read it.

>russian source is neutral
>international wiki that can be edited by russians and multilingual is not

>neutral source
thats not even a source, go back to your neutral sosach, degenerate

It's complete guide for brainlets or who won't to spend enormous time for ready tons of books.

Honestly, it's very neutral source.

Fuck off, libshit.

>Actually denying the shelling of Mainila being a false-flag
>Actually thinking that Wikipedia and anything that is made in Finland is Finnish and allied propaganda
Holy shit, how brainwashed do you have to be? :-DD
>Someone provides sources
>someone posts sources that is made by Finnish historians and professionals
>denies it being reliable
>after that posts a article from a Russian wiki claiming it's neutral
:-DD
Are you actually retarded?
Fun fact: Finland didn't even have these artillery pieces that USSR claimed Finland fired. The closest ones were over 200km away.

Try to find independent history source please. Your "finnish experts" are pro-finnish and isn't neutral.

>It's neutral
Yeah it is, would any other russian website share dead commies? I bet they will not.

>brainwashed
I checked both of wikipedias and any other source claimes opposite.

I probably could link you to Russian experts but it would be not neutral enough.

How are they pro-finnish? They don't say so anywhere. By your Russian logic, if for example a historian is Finnish and makes investigations relating to Finland, they automatically are pro-Finnish. You know, non-Russian countries don't have the need to pump out propaganda.
>It's neutral
Provide proof. You can't claim that my sources are propaganda, sources that are made by professionals and historians, and then post your own, with the "dude trust me", guarantee that they are legitimate.

>Why would my countrymen make posts that are against our national agenda? IT MUST BE TRUE!!!11
You must be trolling, nobody can be this retarded. Well you're from Russia after all, the ability to differentiate propaganda from legit sources are pretty non-existant there.

>You know, non-Russian countries don't have the need to pump out propaganda.
big brain post
