the way that works is half of english men descend from germanics paternally, but the majority of their overall DNA is still native celt/briton because there were far more natives than germanic invaders. if you did a similar map about african americans (as in, those actually descended from slaves) you'd have most of them with european Y-DNA because of master-slave rape. but the majority of their DNA is still African because they've stayed in their group for most of the time
