I took programming classes in high school, It's a field I relate to and understand well, I'm absolutely certain that this is what I want to do as a career, it brings in loads of money but I would also like to do it if it paid half as much.

Oh yes, absolutely, downright cringeworthy, but neither are they the root of all of Israel's problems and frankly forcing them to enlist (I mean, no one REALLY wants them in the army, it's a massive headache and we already have a problem of soldiers who do jack shit and waste resources because "everyone's gotta do it lol") or cutting funding (which is entirely understandable on it's on) won't even begin to solve Israel's problems, It's really more of a scapegoat than an issue that deserves to be as high up on the docket as it is today.
