He had over 100k usd at the top of the 2017 bullrun and didn't cash out even a little bit
I unironically had 97k at the top from a 9k initial investment. Didn't cash any out. Now I'm at 17k but I've also added more fiat. JUST!

When did you invest? What moon missions did you catch?
My money is on Tron or Raiblocks
2016:
BTC @ $450
ETH @ $10
Various other coins at ICO/early: Strat, DGB, XVG, NEO. I'm spread over 20 different ones. No Tron, wasn't around for Rai, but I wish I was -- I don't follow crypto too much these days, maybe once a month to see how my holdings are doing.
Had 239k at the tippy top from a 40k initial. I don't know man, it's baffling. I feel like most of us here weren't truly delusional, at least on the surface. We all knew it was a bubble and it would pop soon. I bet most of us even had plans for when we'd start to take profit. The problem was that plan was always just a little ways off.
>Just another 10% and I'll start to skim off the top!
>One more doubling and I can retire, then I'm all-out!
>Jerome at work just said he bought a whole litecoin this morning, dumb money is still coming in! I'm safe for another week.
When in reality even if we doubled or tripled from the january peak most of us would just push our exit date back a little further... a little further... staring transfixed at our monitors with green dildos in our eyes. And then as soon as it starts to crumble we rationalize that this is just a little dip... as soon as it hits our old ATH again (which is our 'true' portfolio value, of course, the only one we'll settle for), then we'll vamoose. And then it never does and we just anxiously baghold all the way to the bottom, refusing to settle for anything less than a solid gold lambo exit.
I feel like there is a whole universe of emotion and rationalization summed up by each of the stage of the boom/bust meme. I didn't appreciate before how retards could not sell at the top, but now that I've been through all the emotional stages of a bubble formation and bubble pop it all makes sense now.
Why cash out at 100k? You can't live forever on that.

You can start a business with it and live extremely comfortably forever on the earnings.
Delete this shit
hahahahahahahahaha
You know you dumb dumbs couldn't all cash out all that money even if you had wanted to right? Cashing out makes the price crash
Ahh your pre-2017. It's nearly impossible to not have made money if you got into crypto that early.
Funny thing was that I told myself that I would cash at 50% at 100k (to pay off student loans, credit card debt, and live frugally for 2-3 years while in med school.) I only managed to get to a high of 20k from an initial of 4k.
>Mfw I used credit cards to invest in crypto at the top
Are you me I even got a credit union loan to avoid cashing out even a bit....i figured I would just become the best trader alive

Cashed out around 6k and lost about .5 BTC from margin trading. Mainly held REQ and WAN from ICO. Others include ZEN from pre PBC pump, NEBL, XLM and BTC.
