Skytrain is god tier. Prove me wrong

Vancouver is unironically the best looking city in all of Canada if not the entire americas with supreme weather as well. Too bad half the people there are mongoloids.
Thats why you avoid them and live in North Vancouver
Only if they have shops in them like in Zürich, Berlin or Vienna
How is Vancouver? Is it just like seattle but with more asians and less homeless people?
The central station (Waterfront) has a bar and some fast food places
It's pretty decent, but everything is unbelievably expensive
>everything is unbelievably expensive
seems to be a trend no matter the city

Seattle feels more American and more start-uppy. Seattle feels lacking in the urban feel for some reason. Vancouver has lots of homeless people because they come here from other parts of Canada because it's the winters aren't that cold. Homeless people are quarantined for a few blocks on the DTES, and one street in Surrey. Vancouver also is better if you don't have a car because you can use the skytrain.
City's zoning commission would never agree to that. Wish North American cities copied more Euro style city planning. Also, wouldnt the stores be loud asf cus of the trains?
Plus ridiculous gas price draws you away from owning a car
Yea but gas, insurance, and rent here is fucking insane, compared to every other city. I sometimes ask myself if it's worth it just to live here
If you were to move, where would you go?
Wherever I could find a good paying job, and a relatively low cost of living
Jobs in Toronto pays you really well, but gonna have the same issue of high cost of living
>Plus ridiculous gas price draws you away from owning a car
I blame oil companies/Alberta trying to get BCers to support their pipeline
It went from 1.6 to 1.15 to 1.72 in less than a year
Have you considered moving to Kelowna or Victoria?
Seething Alberta cucks jealous of best province
based
Vancouver is a nice place, but not me favorite.
Vancouver is alright, but the real treasure of BC lies in the islands off the coast.
I've been to the interior a couple times, and fucking loved it there. Would really like to live in the southern okanagan or the Similkameen area if I could find a job after university
>the nicest parts of all major western cities are the cores, which are the oldest parts
>and the worst parts of all major western cities are the outer areas, which are the newest parts
why did the west forget how to build good cities?
Victoria is dumb nice desu
>forgot Translink's retarded holiday hours were in effect last Friday
Skytrain is pretty good otherwise though
