No it's the other way around
Here in England we have been well and truly Mick'd

>in all essences except for genetics, yes

other way around. they're literally genetically the same as the english, but culturally different

There is absolutely no difference between Ireland and the UK. None. If ROI were some random British province you wouldn't even notice.

They're not really culturally different at all, just a bit old fashioned compared to here. Mote people going to pubs and more being religious, I wouldn't say anything else is different

Genetically? No. England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales population is pretty much genetically identical. Only like 20% of Englands population is majority Anglo-Saxon and that is primarily focused around East Anglia. The other 80% are Celtic and pretty much identical to us.

Culturally is a different story. Id say we are more leaning towards Anglo than people want to admit. We speak English mainly and only a tiny minority speak Irish beyond a basic level. Customs wise we are similar too. We like the same sports mostly, the only differences being GAA. We like the same entertainment in terms of TV and movies and in terms of food we are similar too. Nowadays we are essentially anglos with small traces of celtic customs remaining.

Until they stop watching British tv and sport all the time, and turn Gaelic into more than a pure meme, they are Anglo. Simple as

I guess they're not nowadays. But historically they remained Celtic for longer, and Catholicism vs. Protestantism caused a divide obviously, as well as the general bad blood between England and Ireland.

I think they wouldn't be so insistent on being different from Britain if there wasn't such a bad history between the two

Are they Anglo?

More Celtic than we are probably considering more of their population speak Welsh as a first language than people who speak Irish here.

They are as Anglo as Egyptians are Arab

If we were to measure Anglo identity in Viking rape blood (and that's what being Anglo is all about) then yes

they're the odd one out of the celtic isles

i don't get it

they are mostly anglo culture wise

eireboos absolutely seething at this comment rn

I've been to the US once and it's mostly Mexican

Its true, we larp as CELTS but in reality we are just STEPPENIGGERS who speak a celtic austrian-germ farmoid tounge

which part?

which is why i couldn't give a fuck about the irish language, its a farmoid-germ language not suited for us aryan bvlls

You have similar genes to those from Galicia and Basque country in Spain
