Let's be honest here, the only reason this thread exists is the same butthurt that has driven Germany since its very inception in 1871: the fact that it should be superior to its peers on paper, yet has nothing to show for it.
What has Britain achieved over its history? Nothing much, just the foundation of the largest empire the world has ever seen and immense innovation in finance and industry. You know, the usual.
What about France? Clearly France could never have achieved anything worth mentioning. Except being the dominant European power for roughly a millennium, spearheading and spreading liberalism across Europe, the creation of the single most influential legal code in human history barring maybe the Codex Iustinianus as well as being the beating heart of European/global art and culture for centuries.
Even in CURRENT YEAR, the very fact that the United States is the world's sole superpower is a testament to the lasting influence and heritage of these two countries. French may no longer be the world's lingua franca, but its influence still shines through in the current lingua franca: English. You know, the language you're using to shitpost about how great Germany is.
What does Germany have to its name on the other hand? Centuries of infighting, oppression, tyranny, opposition to liberty and most notably the largest and most cruel genocide to have ever taken place on European soil. Oh, and the utter breaking of Western culture. And I guess their factories (mimicking the British model) produce nice things from time to time.
