This shithole moves because of tourism and for tourism to flourish you need other countries to be rich in order for tourists to come visit this shithole. If other countries are poor then no one is really visiting this place because they wouldnt be able to affoard it so consequently we would have no income.
That way Portugal will never be able to surpass any other nation. If other get rich, we get a little richer, if other get poor we get poorer. We are always behind. Basically we live off hand outs.

Yesterday I was watching an interview of tourists telling what were the best things Portugal had to offer. Among most responses, "Ooh it's really cheap" was the most common one.

Portugal will NEVER leave poverty, we have the lowest birthrates, the lowest income and the highest rates of emigrants. If anything it will only get worse from now on.
