Here it's more of a youth thing. Loud music, social and pretty much just a moving party. Lot's of non-gay people attend just because it's a fun thing.
Here in Stockholm last year Pride attracted like 20 000 people or more.
Pride here is for everyone though, not just gay people. Everyone who stands out in anyway can walk in it. Or just your average joe looking for a fun time.

Here in Gothenburg pretty much half the city walked in it, took me 2 hours to get home from work instead of the usual 30 minutes.

It depends where you are, bigger cities tend to be ok with it, the last pride parade had a pretty ok amount of people in Cordoba.

At small towns tho you tend to get socially isolated, but not killed thankfully.

I really don't know how it is in my country at this point 2bh. I live in the capital, and I feel like a lot of young people (maybe even the majority) don't care about your sexuality at all and being homophobic is even frown upon (I had a classmate at my uni who said something pretty homophobic, and the rest of the group reacted saying that was very rude and dumb of her- she said she was against allowing gay people to adopt kids).
Most older people, on the other hand, are actually very homophobic.
