It's basic economics, supply and demand. If LINK is adopted as the oracle of choice for business, there will invariably be demand for the token. The supply is fixed, which means with growing demand the token is bound to go up in price. Fomo isn't what can make LINK 1000$ / token, stop having tunnel vision and educate yourself before investing.

LINK acts as collateral for high value contracts. The bigger the contract, the more collateral there should be. LINK is designed to be as expensive as possible to give as much of an incentive as possible to node operators of providing good data. This is not reflected in the price today, but when adoption comes (if it comes), the price will need to reflect these high value contracts.
And it wouldn't magically get to that high price without pumping hard. Now explain to me how companies buying a few Link to use that goes to node operators that sell it pushes the price that high? It doesn't.
I haven't even mentioned the fact that companies can ID which nodes are theirs and can be manually selected. That effectively puts their companies reputation up which circumvents the traditional reputation/collateral system.
