>frogs on suicide watch
Frogs on suicide watch
Ribbit.
OH NO NO NO NOOOOOOO
"italian" cuisine meaning american fast food chains because Italian food is easy to eat on the go
"American" cuisine
Mmmmmmm
>cuisine in the top 5
>on suicide watch
you cisalpine shitskins aren't very smart are you
fuck all of you
cope more you slugs
This is what they mean by italian food and you know it
t. too irrelevant to be on the chart
Hey Indian/Paki cuisine can't be that low! This list isn't real. I refuse to believe it.
The only reason Italian cuisine is that we'll rated if that millions of dagos immigrated all over the Earth to polute their guest countries by their presence and open pizzerias everywhere. You know it's true. Same reason why Mexican food is so popular in the US whereas nobody has heard of it in the EU
Idk man, Mexican cuisine looks pretty popular on that chart regardless of the US score. French has a lukewarm 72 even in Vietnam.
>detailed table with lots sharp edges (text)
>better save it as a JPG, because HURR DURR
Why do Japs hate our food so much? I thought they liked fish and seafood.
Precisely because they like fish and seafood. Your fish and seafood taste like shit.
What the hell is "American" cuisine? McDonald's?
There aren't a lot of Indian restaurants I guess. Plus I think most people would only know curry as an Indian food here
daily reminder that all chinese and mexican food in the US is just american cuisine and fortune cookies are american
Honestly, I think McDonald’s and other American fast food spots is what they’re asking about.
Italian cuisine has lukewarm ratings in Vietnam, Malaysia and every third world country on this chart precisely because dagos didn't immigrate there
Brits started the industrial age, yet British products aren't reputed for being particularly good these days, unlike German products, despite the fact that Germany(and every country for that matter) follows the British model. It's a bit like that with modern cuisine. Italy might have amazing food, but you're still piggybacking on French achievements.
What's wrong with Peruvian food? They have one of the best chicken places in town
you are rather piggy backing on Italian achievments.
In what way ?
France is in the firstplace a culture made by italians and ruled by Germans.
Or do you ant to refer to your celtic origins?
>104684368
Lol ok bud
The Northern half of the country is Frankish to a large extent. The Southern half was just subjugated and assimilated by the Northern half
Shhh, don't feed the troll
>The Northern half of the country is Frankish
They don't speak a German language there.
Maybe it's not like you say.
Indian cuisine is horrendous
Language doesn't mean much. Just look at Finns and Hungarians or at the Irish who know speak a Germanic language even though no genetic switch happened
obsessed
you have no idea how similiar Ireland actually is to England.
They don't even look different.
Yeah but what I meant is that the Irish switched from a full Celtic-speaking society in 1800 to a full Germanic-speaking society now with little to no genetic change
Asians just don’t like food from outside their home countries in general
>you're still piggybacking on French achievements
how? most italian food is based on some type of pastas which existed long before your country
Modern cuisine is basically a french invention. We taught the world how to cook and run a kitchen.
France invented haute cuisine, restaurants, table etiquette, presentation, and a large part of the cooking techniques and sauces that are used in Western cuisine. Even if we were to disregard general French influence on Italian cuisine(a mutual influence, Italian cooks kickstarted the French cooking tradition in the 14th century), cooking wouldn't be as highly valued today without French cooks, and this includes Italian dishes. France should really be credited more for keeping the art of cooking alive and evolving in modern times.
People knew how to cook before they knew how to wash dishes or prepare different meals for lots of guests.
>frogs butthurt at FACTS
>british "cuisine"
A delicacy
French food gets pretty complex. Everyone here who knows anything loves French food but since a lot of the famous dishes are harder to replicate for untrained bottom tier kitchen staff, all the French restaurants tend to be expensive.
What is Australian cuisine?
you're talking about restaurant culture which has strong french origins in europe, but I don't see how that alone can be used to claim our cousine was affected by it, since many recipes have been popular even among the lower social classes. As for cooking methods, most of them have ancient origin, the french just give them the modern name and codified their applications.
Most italian food is pretty simple to make.
>Peruvian food on the bottom
That's truly a fucking travesty. People don't know what they're missing.
the french cope is hilarious
>Argentinian cuisine that low
Rest of the world explain yourselves. Also nice chart that allows some nation rate themselves but not others.
Our cuisine is the best anyways
... and it's still considered to be better than yours
>American cuisine
I have no fucking idea
> American cuisine
What did abos eat before the arrival of Paleface? Did they have any dishes worth eating to civilized people? I feel like their meals were probably nice and fresh at least, if nothing else.
Giant lizards
The thing is you know what Italian food is. Pasta, pizza, various other combinations of wheat and tomato.
I honestly don't even know what french food is. Baguettes, croissant, that thing where they feed the goose lard until it dies. But except for fine dining there aren't really french restaurants or iconic foods. Im sure its fine but its pretty generic stuff made slightly better.
And i fucking hate italy and like france.
>french doesn't have iconic foods
emmm crepes,fondue,3000 type of cheese,escargot,croissants,maccarons...
All of them there are just a fancier version of an anglo food. I don't ever feel like eating french food and go to a french food place.
>american cuisine high rated
>german cuisine has below average rating
>korean, vietnamese, german cuisine rated above average in america
>turkish rated below average in america
>moroccan, lebanese, caribbean all rated below average
>australian cuisine rated below average in europe
>india rated badly in china
you can tell that it's nothing more than a popularity graph of fast food places, countries without a strong fast food culture are generally rated below average and countries with a strong fast food culture have ratings that have been influenced by migration patterns
steak frites, coq au vin, beef bourguignon, ratatouille, quiche, hundreds of cheeses, dozens of pastries including eclairs, dessert dishes like creme brulee, mousse, crepes, gateau, etc
you're right in that it's either fine dining or pastries/desserts but the french have hundreds of iconic dishes
>Finngolian "food"
It's not low at all?
Yeah, in short, OP's pic is just proof that everyone is retarded.
thank you for the efficient picture german bro
My main point is all those french dishes are just fancier versions of anglo food. So it kind of blends in.
I do agree the graphs retarded though.
But not sure what our food even is. Probably just meat but also people always way overdo steak
don't you have some iconic dish based on crocodile or kangaroo meat?
>kangaroo's meat
Every Aussie I've asked about it on here says it's good meat.
>all those french dishes are just fancier versions of anglo food
the other way around senpai
But it's true that Italian food is rated high only because they have very fast food-prone cuisine (pizza and pasta), whereas the good French dishes are high-level cuisine, so in all likeliness you ever try one dish or two in your life, unless you visit France regularly (and have money to blow).
There's a reason the English word for "the art of cooking" is "cuisine" and not "cucina".
We don't really have dishes no
Kangaroo meat is alright on a burger. People just can't be bothered eating it so its not super common.
>t. Jamal
Looks good to me m8.
What's wrong with Finnish cuisine?
the best
that seems like a pretty good rating
based
I knew we weren't that bad
Nvm, just searched Finnish cuisine and this is one of the images that showed up :DD
>France gives British food a terrible score
Hmm, I wonder if there possibly outside facotrs influencing this score. Unless French people really hate wholesome roasted meats, gravy, fish, and basic sandwiches.
>I want some beans n toast now
>Hmm, I wonder if there possibly outside facotrs influencing this score.
No, it's just really bad food actually
A score of 28 almost implies they would rather eat nothing rather than British food, which is a bit extreme. Even if the flavors are basic, that doesn't make it taste bad. About the most extreme thing I can think of is the inclusion of cooked blood in some dishes, which squicks my wimpy American taste buds but I would sooner eat cooked blood over a living grasshopper or dog meat.
British food gets unfairly hated on because most of it is kind of plain and unexciting, or at least that's always been my assessment, but they have a lot of really fucking comfy dishes. Give blood another go sometime, by the way. It's good.
I don't care we invented cuisine
McDonalds and whatever that pizza with a fuckload of cheese on it is called.
you want people to take this seriously when fucking singapore in on the list but portugal isnt?
I mean I love French food Pierre but let's not be retarded.
Why can't French people just accept that they are a basically a cucked, gay and non-macho version of Italian bulls fresh from the Mediterranean
>thinking relevancy is everything
t. peaked in hs
can someone make this but with portugese cuisine at the bottom
In Frances defense I dare say one of their main downfalls is that their food is so widespread that people dont even realise it's French food.
Italian food in my opinion is over rated. Their best cuisine is their less well known dishes which are fantastic if youre on a very tight budget. They know how to make good, simple inexpensive food. But you'll never find it in an italian take away.
It is important to note that the average non-native's view of any foreign cuisine is probably of localized (or, "Americanized" in particular), often lower quality versions of said cuisines. An "American pizza" is nothing like an Italian pizza, for instance, but I'd be willing to bet most non-Italians conflate the two.
where's belgian cuisine?
>Filipino food is bottom tier
>be Dane
>hate German cuisine
>hate Swedish cuisine
>hate British cuisine
>hate Norwegian cuisine
>hate Finnish cuisine
b-b-ut Danish cuisine i-is a-awesome!!!
what a bunch of retards
what is flip cooking like jose wilson ramirez-banaang?
they deserve to be at the top for pic related alone
see also the aussie suggesting that french food is just bastardised anglo food
Euro's can't get enough of it
>Australian cuisine
That bit got me too, it's the same for the other Nordics as well. Losers.
OMG chinees are food racists!
Man east Asians just like to shit on other countries food.
Eating literal insects requires specialised tastes.
